Got on time and as advertised. I've had mine for over a year and still works fine. The only issue I have is the charge only lasts 4-5 hours. I use at our church and if we have events at the church that last more than 4 hours it will die.

Initially I was really hoppy with this device. The sound was very clear, compared to the Samcome Bluetooth surveillance model I had purchased and returned earlier. The earpiece was comfortable, and easy to charge, and volume and clarity was good. However after using the device I had the following issues. In a noisy environment, (concert) you could not Hear any transmissions easily. In a quiet situation it worked flawlessly. If this was the only issue, I would have kept the device, and used it outside of noisy environments. In a concert venue, I would use a typed voice coil surveillance mike. The biggest issue was that after 5 1/2 hours, the earpiece battery died. This was the deal breaker, as I wouldn't be able to use it for a full job time. And honestly, there was not heavy communications that I could attribute the bad battery life too. In conclusion, While this was the best Bluetooth two way radio device I have used, simple to setup and use, If the following items were addressed this would be a home run. 1: Increase battery size in the earpiece. 2: Need a better fit for the earpiece, so to reduce outside noise. Currently, the earpiece just rests on you ear, would be better if it used a tip that would be similar to the design of a surveillance tip. 3: provide in the instructions, a link to purchase replacement ear pieces, as they are not standard. 4: If possible would love to have a user replaceable battery . All in all this was a great attempt at a Bluetooth earpiece, hopefully Samcome can tweak the device to make it better. UPDATE I was contacted by SAMCOM support after posting my review. They were extremely helpful and offered to send me another unit to make sure that There wasn't an issue with my first device. They are willing to work with me to resolve the issues that I encountered. Their customer support is very high bar, and will continue to purchase items from SAMCOM.

I bought several of these for security work. Almost used once but had to return them. Tried to use in a loud and crowded environment. Not a fan.

I started a new job and they required us to use radios to help communicate with other employees through the store. The wired solution they offered was just too cumbersome for me as the wired adapter did not feel comfortable in my ear and having to loop the wires under my shirt and having to clip from the back. I was hoping that there was a wireless device to would available to make it more comfortable and easier for me and the Samcom wireless earpiece seems to be a winner! Was a bit confused as to figure out how to charge it at first but after glancing at the manual for awhile I figured it out, gave it a good charge and next morning I tried it out on the radio. Was a snap to hook it up to my radio, put the piece in my ear, pair them up together via Bluetooth and come in nice and clear! Never heard any complains about my co-workers hearing my voice and I hear them just great as well. Only two issues is that the battery life is a bit on the low side with only about five hours so make certain you bring the charging cable adapter to work and have a hub to charge it to or bring a USB plug and you will be fine. The other issue is that the nice thing the wired adapter did have a nice feature where you could press a small button and speak into a mic and not have to pull out the radio itself to speak. However I feel the massive advantage of having no wires to worry about far outweigh the minor inconvenience. It is a bit also pricey but I feel it was well worth the cost for me, thank you again, Samcom!

It's a great idea, but the battery life is terrible and it's a little uncomfortable. If you're needing it to last all day you had, it won't. It barely lasts a few hours so they definitely need a better battery solution for this. It's also a little uncomfortable. If the battery lasted, I'd of given it 5 stars though.
