I got the pump in 2 days as promised. Couldn't be easier to install. No problems at all. The pump is very quite and the flow is great. I used the pump for a septic tank that pumps into a sewage system. Great value for the money. I could buy 3 for the price of one the more famous brands. It was less than half the weight of my previous pump, which makes a difference when you are pulling that puppy out of a deep tank. Also, the lifting ring where I attached my rope, is very sturdy and well designed. It fell off the old pump because of a design flaw - cost me a lot of time and effert to retrieve the pump. This unit has as almost much power as the unit I replaced, and muvh easier to install and remove. I do have one nit. The tandom plug arraingement so that you can use manual or auto activation feels like a bad idea. It sticks out so far that even with an expanded water-tight enclosure I couldn't get the cords to fit. I had to cut the plugs off and hard-wire the the pump and flow for full time automatic operation. Not a big deal, but I wasted time to do it the hard way.

The build quality indicates this is a quality manufactured unit! Installation was easy with clear instructions, and it worked flawlessly! Tip: Remember that the output pipe coming out of pump needs to be "primed with water first," so it doesn't initially suck air.

Works fine however in my case it would have been beneficial if the base would rotate so I would be able to pick where the float would be located

So far, so good. The last sewage sump pump lasted nearly thirty years. Wasn’t this brand, but very similar. Heavy duty. Whisper quiet, super fast. I hope this pump outlasts me. The dirtiest of dirty jobs. That you never, ever wanna have to do more than once.

Worked for one month and quit. Digging up and working on sewage tanks is dirty, and very time consuming. Save yourself the agony and labor cost. Buy a good USA made pump with 100% five star reviews. You may pay more, you will definitely stress less.

This thing is awesome! We used on a 50gal drum we used for sewage at our deer camp. It is a strong and very quiet machine!! Remember to prime it first!!
