I bought this Dickies Men's Short Sleeve Shirt on Amazon a couple weeks ago and I’m genuinely impressed. The quality is exactly what you expect from Dickies – tough, durable, and built to last. The fabric is a nice heavyweight cotton that feels substantial but still breathable, which is perfect for my job where I’m outside a lot. It washes well with minimal shrinking or fading, and the color has held up great so far. The fit is spot-on (I ordered my usual size and it’s comfortable without being baggy or tight). Plenty of room to move, and the chest pocket with pencil slot is super handy. I’ve already worn it several times and it still looks sharp. Giving it 5 stars because the shirt is top quality and just what I wanted, BUT I’m 6 ft. and around 190 lbs.; the product page recommended an XLG for me so that’s what I bought. It was huge and way (I’m talking way) too big; I returned and bought a size Large, which was perfect. The size chart is probably much better than the posted recommendation for determining size. Really good shirt!

Typical Dickies work shirt with a vibrant bright red colour. These shirts fit well and last a long time though with repeated washing the colours tend to fade especially around the collars. Particularly like the flap down pockets. Good sturdy work shirt. Would recommend

Good utility with 2 pockets with button down flap. Durable and stain release. So easy to iron to make it look great. Fit is a full type. So is generous with a wide audience of physiques. When bought new, noticed some loose threads, but they come right out, and the shirt is otherwise well sewn, straight seams, and such. Buttons are good quality. Collar stays keep the collar points straight, and smart. I would not call these the softest fabric combination though. If you want a bit softer a great cotton T shirt under is a good idea. I like this shirt allot. I bought many, and they are a constant in my wardrobe. Spoilers for the shirt would be others that may challenge this. The most odd one is not even sold in the USA. It is Australian. Hard Yakka. Think Robert Irwin, he wears them. I think these shirts though a pain to get here in the states where I can order Dickies here and a couple days they are here. The Hard Yakka has better comfort, and the light summer weight feels better too. Better constructed too. They will cost more. The heavier cotton Hard Yakka is even better. These are my standards I feel a work shirt should be judged. But I have been wearing Dickies since a kid. Familiar and easy to get. Compared to back then to now, I think Dickies have cut costs and some quality concessions have been made. But still reasonably good value, good wearing and easy to iron. Beats my Hard Yakkas in that area, though the summer weight Hard Yakka is similar in ironing ease. At the end of the day, I have way more of the Dickies because I just plain like them. They may not be the best, but they compare and are quite competitive and not expensive. I will keep buying them. Same with the Hard Yakka even if it has to come across the ocean. Dickies when the need is now, and very happy about it. Recommended.

I’ve worn Wrangler I’ve worn Van Hussen. But holy guacamole when I put this shirt on I thought I was ready to fight a lion. I felt like I could kick more ass than a 8 legged ninja fighting a dude with a bunch of asses. I felt like I could get all the chick life guards on the old Baywatch show to go on a date and then not show up and they would be very disapointed. Actually none of that is true (I have wore the Wrangler and Van Hussen shirts). It was pretty comfy and it fit perfect. Cool shirt. Would lie about the things I’ve done in it again.

Ok ... the fit is a little non-nuanced .... but the durability and price are what I want. A tough shirt you can tuck in and just look a little more dressy that a t-shirt or sweat-shirt. The chest pockets are VERY functional. They are kind of an American cultural icon ..... and easy on the wallet !!! : )

Dieses ist schon das 3.Hemd von Dickies, das ich mir gekauft habe. Diese Hemden sind sehr robust und tragen sich sehr gut. XL fällt in diesem Fall für mich perfekt aus, nicht zu eng und nicht zu weit, so soll es sein. Das XL nicht immer XL ist, habe ich an einem Hemd von Bandit gemerkt, das ich mir zeitgleich bestellt hatte. Dieses ist viel zu eng und geht zurück. Ist bestimmt nicht das letzte Hemd von Dickies, das ich mir bestellt habe. Danke auch an Amazon für die schnelle Lieferung.

Excellent value. Room to move in the shoulders and not tight fitting like lots of modern shirts which say XL but feel more like M. Wear it on its own or over a teeshirt. I have four of these shirts and have been told that they are popular with hipsters, so I have been unintentionally trendy for the last year.
