I needed a way to switch my notebook computer's ethernet connection between two different routers in my home office network setup. I was only experimenting, so I checked Amazon for an AB ethernet switch that was budget priced. This was one of the lowest priced switches I could find. I figured if the experiment didn't pan out, I could just throw it away. Well, I'm keeping it. This little budget switch worked flawlessly and I'm leaving it connected in my network. The switch doesn't require any external power, it has a small footprint and bottom line, it just works. This turned out to be a great deal.

This is a great, simple, and inexpensive way to select and switch ethernet cables and devices.

Product worked great for me. Bought it because I didn't want to use a power cord. Now you have to switch the connection when using the internet for the device your using. But the price was good and the onnection was fine for my DVR and Xbox.

I paid for a very expensive software program and when I upgraded to Windows 11 the program said it would no longer work on Windows 11. What a ripoff! If it works on 10 then it should also work on 11. This was just the company moving to a pay-per-month model and trying to squeeze more money out of it's licensed users. I solved the problem by disconnecting the internet before I start the program. This was the neatest desktop solution I could find.

This is a neat little gadget. When you have two computers in the house and need to switch between the one you need for being online, this is the answer. I have had no signal or connection problem. Works great.

Works perfect as a switch to connect/disconnect a phone line for my printers RJ-11 fax port as well as the RJ-45 network cables it was designed for. Add a P+Touch label and there’s no more fooling with cables or crawling on the floor to connect/disconnect the line. Texts and Email just aren’t secure. If you have a landline, Fax is still the most secure way to deliver documents. My printer is configured for fax, so all I need do to receive a fax now is flip the switch. It also makes telemarketers crazy when I see their calls on my phone’s display and switch on the fax machine to answer their calls.

It worked perfectly separating the network with this switch. Don’t affect the speeds and it’s pretty stable.

Just what I needed. I work from home and this is how I can easily change my Docking Station between my work firewall network and home network. Great build quality. Very sturdy and satisfying click when switching.
