Nestlé Mini Breaks 24 Small Chocolate & Biscuit Bar Variety Box, 416 g, Pack of 10

I got them for something different. They have arrive in great little boxes that would be great for gift ideas.

Once the box arrived I placed it in the fridge for the kids to help themselves to one piece after dinner. Sadly once opened you could clearly see that the chocolate had melted. So we opened all the bars. Dan all the bars were the same. The smarties had somehow survived. But my son complained that the smarties smelt of fat. I have to agree they didn’t smell nice. So the lot had to be disposed off. Shame as I loved the idea of them having a sweet treat of this size after they had finished dinner.

We all have our favourites in this set. My personal one is Toffee Crisp whilst my son loves the Smarties and Kit Kats. As an occasional treat, these are brilliant - for lunch boxes or too keep in the fridge. I found that we as a family managed to demolish all variants in equal amounts so there was no 'urgh not them' left at the end. An excellent mix.

Tasty snacks, and a good size - being a maximum of about only 100 kcal per packet. The kit-kat is two normal fingers (didn't that used to be the standard size of a kitkat before it changed to four?), the smarties are tiny, and the rolos (three in small packet) and toffee crisp are suitably diminutive.

This is a small box full of fun-size versions of all your favourite nestle snacks. Great for parties or other social ocasions, or as treak or treat fodder. There is an assortment of chocolate bars inside - mine had an even spread of each type. I was a bit surprised to find that the smarties in the mini box were also mini (didn't small boxes of smarties used to have normal sized smarties in them? Am I showing my age?) - but other than that, the products were exactly as you would expect from the normal sized versions, just smaller!

Who doesn't love chocolate? Except for dogs of course. This is a cardboard box of 24 mini chocolates. Inside are 6 mini packs of Rolos, 6 mini packs of Smarties, 6 KitKats and 6 Toffee Crisps. Point 1: Unlike Celebrations, for example, where all the chocolates are the same size, these are different sizes. The Rolo minis packs (containing three Rolos) are the smallest being about half the size of the KitKat and Toffee Crisp bars. That doesn't seem fair when this is a pack you're sharing around. Siblings, for example, may be unhappy seeing their brother or sister getting a chocolate bigger than them. Point 2: This is clearly a pack made for sharing so I don't agree with other reviewers knocking off stars simply because they felt that 24 chocolates was a bit excessive for one person. I can only imagine the miserly Easters they have with their tiny eggs. Point 3: These are made by Nestle, a company that some have boycotted. But I don't discriminate. If they are making chocolate then I am eating it. Point 4: As another reviewer pointed out the package is cardboard not plastic like Celebrations, for example. This makes it more recyclable and as such is better for this fine planet of ours. Point 5: Chocolate isn't the healthiest food. However I still love it. Sure maybe without it I'd be a few pounds lighter, maybe a bit fitter, but equally maybe by now I'd be an alcoholic too.

Box containing the sweets was not particularly robust. I don’t think I would be happy to give it as a gift. Nice chocolates which were a good treat size, hence 4 stars. I wouldn’t repurchase
