I use this once a month for deep conditioning after shampooing or just by itself as a hair mask, let it sit, and then wash it out. I've heard it'll smell like an ashtray, FALSE! Now I can't tell if any product is "doing wonders for my hair" but I'm not balding or getting damage, and it feels great putting it in, makes my curls and braids soft and smooth. I hope it's a healer like it feels like, but I'm just blind to telling how great any product might be. I'd say try it!

This stuff really works. I haven't been losing as much hair since I've been using it and it smells great. Just the right amount of thickness; would definitely recommend and buy again!🙏

So listen everyone, I don’t right reviews as often as I should since I rely on them so much, BUT I had to write a review for this product. It took me 12 years to find it. My 12 year old daughter has thick, coarse and curly hair that dries very easily. My hair is thick but soft and get weighed down by oil easily. This product works on both. I have done my own hair for years (since freshman year in college and I am now 38 years old), and I have a strict regimen. This product works really well with Mizani smooth guard conditioner. After shampooing with the black castor oil shampoo by Okay (rinse out), I use this Okay conditioner and comb through with a big tooth comb. While it’s still in, I comb through the Mizani thermasmooth conditioner and Comb through with a skinny tooth comb (mixing conditioner doesn’t always go well but this makes the hair smooth like butter). I rinse out really well and towel dry. I add a small amount of Shea Moisture Strengthen and Restore Hair serum and comb through with big tooth comb. Then Use the Jinri 1876W Salon Dryer and blow dry straight with big tooth attachment. I part hair in fours and flat iron each section with Rusk CTC Technology flat iron. I curl with the flat iron, wrap and tie up. In the morning, her hair looks like she came straight from a celebrity salon. I am not tooting my horn as her stylist (I only do my hair and hers), but I am excited I finally found the right mix for her hair after 12 years of experimenting. I am a BIG believer that there is no such thing as “good hair,” but all hair can be good when you adjust to the personality of a particular hair type. We all have the hair God wanted is to have. As you can tell I am over the moon and figured I could set someone else free!! I hope you are abundantly blessed by this review!!!

It was great in my long, box dyed hair. I even bought one for my stylist because she said my hair was in great condition considering that it had been box dyed for 20 years. Now I'm walking around in a cute buzz cut, bleached blonde. This moisturizes my scalp very well as well as my hair. I recommend this to everyone, it really is for all hair types.

I didn't like this product. It left my hair goopy and hard to manage, and then it was difficult to wash out.
