Easy to use and reliable
This Ring wireless video doorbell works very well and is easy to use. The video quality is clear, and the live view and motion alerts are reliable. I like that I can see and talk to visitors from my phone at any time. Installation was quick and wireless, which made setup very easy. It’s a great option for adding extra security to your home or business.

Great product
I bought the Ring Battery Doorbell with the Ring Indoor Cam (2nd Gen, Black) as a simple way to cover both my front door and an indoor space without dealing with complicated wiring or multiple apps. Setup was very straightforward, and everything runs smoothly through the Ring app, which makes managing alerts, live view, and settings easy. Video quality is solid on both devices, with clear daytime footage and reliable night vision. The indoor camera in particular impressed me with how sharp the image is and how clear the two-way audio sounds. Motion detection works well overall once you take a few minutes to fine-tune the motion zones and sensitivity. The doorbell can be a bit sensitive if you’re on a busy street, but once adjusted it gives accurate alerts for people and deliveries. Like most battery-powered doorbells, there can occasionally be a slight delay before recording starts, and battery life really depends on how much activity you have and how often you check live view. The indoor cam feels more “instant” since it’s plugged in and is great for checking on pets or general activity inside the house. One thing to keep in mind is that while you can use both devices without a subscription, the Ring Protect plan really unlocks their full potential by allowing video history and richer notifications. Overall, this bundle feels like a great value if you want an easy, reliable security setup with indoor and outdoor coverage in one package. It’s not completely “set it and forget it” because of battery charging and the subscription upsell, but for convenience, usability, and everyday performance, it’s been a very satisfying purchase.

So far so good!
So far so good, camera quality is great, and the Battery life is fantastic. Hadn't put it on charge for almost 3 weeks and it was at 56 % when I finally brought it inside (turned off because it was like -28 outside) The battery life is pretty good, even with the motion being relatively high. And I mean like, I was getting notifications constantly for just the wind blowing around, a cat walking by, etc. The field of view is pretty good, I can see the whole front yard, plus my drive way. And it's mounted next to my door. The doorbell itself has worked fine so far, and honestly if you have good wifi. There wasnt really any delay in the live feed almost at all. Once it loaded, I would always have perfectly clear picture and could see exactly what was going on. So far I'm happy with it!

Edit- this is a great product!!!!!
I am changing my rating from the 3 stars and correcting my statement that is below this one. I have found great features in the ring app, one being the option to see where the battery life of the device is. I guess I missed this and I was never actually charging the doorbell all the way. Although this is odd because I would charge it for hours and put it back all for it to not be completely charged. I do however know there maybe other factors that contribute to this and may not be a reflection of the doorbell itself, but rather the charger i used or even the outlet. I have charged it up recently and the charge did great, it lasted about 3-4 weeks. This was when I found out I could check to see how much charge it had. I retract my previous statement because since finding this my doorbell has been operating as expected. I do recommend this product!! Also I want to thank Ring Customer Support who reached out to me numerous times to try to get me the support I needed. It is great to know they care about the integrity of their product and will stand by and assist you with whatever they can to ensure you're satisfied with their product, that in itself speaks volumes about this product to me!! *****previous review below****** can be disregarded! This is a great security camera. It worked so well when I purchased it, which was back in March of this year. Now it will not hold a charge. It seems like I have to charge it every couple of days where as before I didn't have to charge it for at least a couple of weeks. I'm a bit disappointed because I had to buy an Alexa + necessary accessories for this to work, so I spent over $180 on everything abs not even a year in I'm seeing negative changes. Has anyone else who purchased this see similar changes?

Great doorbell with solid performance
The Ring Battery Doorbell works very well overall and does exactly what it promises. The video quality is clear, even at night, and motion alerts are fast and reliable. I really like being able to see and talk to visitors from my phone, which adds an extra layer of security. Installation was straightforward and didn’t take long, even without prior experience. Battery life is decent, but depending on how often motion is triggered, you may need to recharge it more frequently than expected. The only downside is that some advanced features require a subscription, which is something to consider. Other than that, it’s a great product and a solid choice for home security.

GREAT, portable, move around to watch out pets and easy set up!
Besides having one at our front door, we now use these all over the house to spy on our kittens, they are great cause you can literally put them anywhere, floor level, on a shelf, in a corner on the floor... I have a feline surveillance system LOL. I have 3 of the permanent indoor Ring wired cams in main home areas, no need to charge them, but what I love about these chargeable ones is they go on sale a lot for around $50 and they set up ANYWHERE... During the day I move the hallway one into the spare bath and bedrooms so I can monitor these little kitties activities and make sure they are not into trouble. We have one by the food bowls too and we can make sure each kitten is getting some food, we have a porky female lol... Then when we leave we can check on them easily. You can also put one inside a cat tower tree or anywhere in your home. If I have service techs come and I don't want to babysit a job we can put one in a far corner to make sure all is well with repairs too.
