Love the fry pans. Had and used a set of GreenLife non-stick ceramic for the last 5 year, and they finally began to lose the "non-stickiness'. No question, we replaced them with another set (actually 2 sets). These don't have the toxicity of Teflon, and IF YOU PROPERLY TAKE CARE OF THEM, they will last a lot longer than what the manufacturer states (18 months - 2 years). We always try to cook on the lowest heat possible, EASILY wash them with a soft sponge and dish detergent (they never go into the dishwasher), use a soft cloth to dry them (never paper towel), and never use extra virgin olive oil or cooking spray, and always let them cool before we wash them. These were purchased to complete our set of the 8" and 10" pans (we purchased 2 sets, and 2 additional 12" pans). They are still reasonably priced and not available in any of our local stores. The one thing I like the most is that the handles screw on to a welded piece....no stupid food collecting rivets on the inside that can't be kept food free with out a damaging scrubbing. Every once in a while an oxidized coating will coat the inside of the pan (from higher temperature heating), and we clean them with a nonabrasive ceramic cleaner (Bar Keepers Friend Ceramic Cleaner). Those giving these pans bad reviews are no doubt abusing them, tossing them in the dishwasher, using abrasives to wash them, tossing them on the burner under the highest heat setting, and/or wiping dry with abrasive paper towels. The ceramic coating is not designed to withstand this abuse.

Love this pan. Brilliant for cooking. Cleans very easily. Have used it about 30 times so far.
