This exercise mat is really sturdy and comfortable. I like the 2-inch thickness for better stability and cushioning on floor exercises and stretches. The foam seems dense because the mat feels very stable. It folds great and because it’s 2 inches it would be 6 inches once folded up. I don’t have a problem with storing it when not using it. Excellent protection for knees and back on my hard floors which was the number one feature I was looking for. Easy to set up and has handles, so moving it around is easy too. The material seems sturdy and is easy to just wipe off to clean, and it seems like it will hold up well with regular use. It has great support without feeling too soft or like I am sinking in too much and feeling the hard floor underneath. I also thought the price was very reasonable for the quality.

I was worried that it would be too soft and squishy for mat stretches. But it is perfect. The foam is dense, supportive, and comfortable. Nice when on knees or lying on back. I personally prefer my traditional 5/8 in thick yoga mat for standing stretches. But I am glad I have both. The quality impresses me. Stitching seems durable. Excellent value for the price! Very satisfied. Convenient to store: folds flat or stands up on end when folded.

I think this is the perfect exercise mat. It is a good two to three inches thick and really cushions you while you are exercising. I got this because I moved into an apartment with hardwood floors and I absolutely need protection from how firm that surface is to exercise on. This mat functions perfectly to provide me with a stable surface that is soft enough to keep me from the pain of exercising on a hardwood floor. The mat has proven to be extremely durable. It does not deform over time. It is still in the same great shape it was when I got it. You can easily fold it up and move it to another place so it is not in the way. I leave it folded up and on the floor so that my cat can use it as an extra bed when I am not exercising.

I love that the mat folds up and has handles. That makes it so easy to store away when not using. I bought it to go under the gymnastics bar that I bought for my granddaughter. The only thing that I would change is the width. I'd like it to be wider. Overall it is a nice mat.

So, I just received this mat and laid it out. I had a difficult time selecting a mat because it's very hard to determine the firmness of the foam and the quality of the cover. I'm pleased to say this mat was a great choice. The cover seems durable and of quality construction. This is a 10' X 4' X 2" thick mat and it's perfect for me. The foam is very firm such that at 6' tall and 192 lbs. the ball and heel of my feet sink in about 1/2" but the rest of my feet are supported near the surface. In other words, if I fell onto a knee it's very unlikely I'd be injured in that knee. Also, I have some issues with an old foot injury and this mat's foam supports that foot very well. It's stiff enough to provide real protection without being too stiff for some comfort. It will protect my body from the hard concrete floor it will be deployed on. Also, given how impressed I am with it it's an incredible value. I'll update this review if I have any problems with it during my workouts, but so far so good.

This mat works wonders for someone with arthritis. I was unable to lay on a regular yoga mat for my exercises and found this mat. It provides enough cushioning and support that I am able to take it to my yoga classes and use in my home. Super lightweight that I can fold it and carry it anywhere!

this is a great mat. It's thick and firm. I feel like it's even better than at the gym. I use it for tretching, yoga and core work when I don't want to go out to the gym or I want a quick workout. it folds up and takes up almost no space. It's perfect for the apartment

My physiotherapist encouraged me to do some yoga. I am using this as an extra thick yoga mat because my joints hate touching hard floors. Regular yoga mats seem very overpriced for how uselessly thin most of them are. This mat is ultra thick, does not hurt your joints when squishing your knees or elbows into it, yet is firm enough to remain stable. It’s also the correct dimensions for a standard yoga mat. I’ve been using it daily with no issues. I also enjoy how easily it folds away for storage. I did find it comical that the box it comes in recommends a “team lift” - two person job to safely move it apparently! But you won’t need to call a friend - it weighs a pound at best. Very happy with it and would recommend.
