I bought this STATIONERY ISLAND A4 Sketch Pad for my 15-year-old son who loves drawing, and he absolutely loves it! The pages are nice and thick, perfect for pencils, pens, and markers without bleeding through. It’s great quality, well-made, and ideal for anyone who enjoys sketching or creative work. A wonderful sketchbook at a great price — highly recommend for budding artists! 🎨

My only gripe with this pad is that it is labelled as good for watercolour painting. I've only just started drawing and using watercolours so I was unaware that this actually isn't the best paper to use. Don't get me wrong, it works but you're not going to get the greatest results out anything akin to the effects that you can get with watercolours. It's an off white colour that holds up to alcohol ink and other felt tips but anything wetter and the paper pills badly. Your also not going to be able to use a rubber to vigorously either as the paper tends to start disintegrating. For the price is great for sketching and planning out your intended artworks.
