It'd be perfect if it were easier to adjust the flame, it had a silicone gasket around the rim where the lid closes to keep it from closing so hard and making so much noise, and it held slightly more fuel. I just got it in, so I'll update on longevity, after sales service, etc, soon... very nice lighter though.Update #1: rating reduced from four stars to one.After using the lighter for less than a full day with minimal use, the torch function is no longer working or when it does, the torch is firing off simultaneously with the soft flame. It seems as though the lever that changes the flame mode is malfunctioning. I plan on contacting the seller to see what my options are and will update my review with the resolution results.Update #2:Revised rating to 5 stars to reflect excellent experience with after sales customer service. I'd recieved a faulty product that they didn't hesitate to replace with few questions asked, and it arrived with quick shipping.The lighter itself I would rate 5 stars based on its reliability and fitting the description in the product details. Far as design and functionality for my purposes and preferences, I would rate it about a 3, maybe 3.5. I definitely think it could be better, but it has some features I was looking for, which is why I bought it. I would love to be able to connect with this manufacturer or another in a joined effort to design the "perfect" lighter. Who knows? Maybe there will be a third update... 🤔

The only thing good to say is that you can go from a flame to torch. But the constant frustation of having to turn up the flame or refill it FAR out weighs the only positive thing about it. When there isn't enough butane in chamber, you can't switch to torch and then the flame even goes out. Which that might be so bad except that the butane doesn't even last but less than a handful of uses. I would have rather spent twice as much and waited twice as long for another kind I was interested in. Instead I chose to get this one since it was half as much in cost and delivery time. I won't be so impatient nor frugle. What's even worse.....I had bought TWO of them. So I was twice as dumb!

The lighter has a great fit, finish and works great. Delivery was prompt. The only reason I held back a star was because I did not receive a manual with my lighter and had to contact the company because I could not get the "blue flame" function of the lighter to work at first. They responded to my email with an apology and directions that allowed me to get the lighter to work perfectly. The lighterer's "blue flame" operates after you have lit the "soft flame". while the "soft flame" is lit you gently push the side button to switch the flame to the stronger "blue flame". The is no igniter for the second flame to work independently. Customer service was good. I'm overall very pleased with the lighter now that I know how to use it properly!

This is a great lighter for any occasion/purpose! Very handy, replaceable Flint, small and stylish conversation piece that will have your friends wanting one because they are so cool! Haha. Only problem is the tank is a little small and you need to remember to refill before you head out. The lighter is cool, no doubt and the only one of it's kind that I have seen. The company is AMAZING and actually stands behind their products!!! I bought one, it quit working about 8 months after. I was bummed because it was so cool and everyone who saw it thought so too. I thought about ordering another and noticed the companies guarantee. I figured it had been to long or was just words but I messaged them about my lighter, the got back to me right away and gave me another one free!!! I don't write reviews usually and if I do they are likely to warn others of a bad deal or scam, just to busy! This company puts a good product out and has such great customer service that I thought I should let people know of something GOOD for once! Enjoy!

If using as a soft flame lighter, then it's alright. But if you try to use the torch then it you'll be disappointed. you can't really light the flame when the torch button is pressed, and if you try to switch from soft to jet, it'll just blow out the flame. Tried different strengths and you'll want it set to a higher flame to get the torch working. Also, press the button slowly and you also may have to angle the lighter so that the torch will light.Will not work in any sort of wind/breeze either. In fact, just breathing onto it may cause the light to go out. I really liked the simple look of the lighter too.

2nd update 16 months after purchase: Still going strong after over a year of being regular use and abuse. Just recently purchased another dual style flame lighter from this manufacturer and love it too. This company makes a very reliable product from my experience.Update: 4 months later and after regular use and being dropped a lot, it's working as good as it did on day one. Solid purchaseOriginal: I have had a couple of these dual flame type lighters, and the issue is that the igniter (ones that make an electrical spark) always fails after a couple weeks. Well this one has a flint igniter like your typical Bic lighter, so as long as it has flint in it, it will spark, and as long as you're putting quality butane in it, the lighter will function great. It needs to be refilled fairly often, so make sure you top it off, if you'll be away from your refill canister. If you don't know proper torch lighter maintenance, such as bleeding it between refills, do a quick google search and watch a youtube video.

This thing barely works. Very cheaply made. Be careful when lighting it for the first time, the factory default flame height is set to be a good 4 or 5 inches high -- no joke. Also, the only way you can get the torch setting to work is if you set the soft flame to be THAT high, rendering the soft flame useless unless you want to burn your face off! So, in reality, you have to either pick one setting or the other. I want my money back, but this thing isn't even worth the effort to return. Buyer beware.
