The book came in perfect condition! The cover and illustrations are stunning. The story is intriguing, can't wait for the next installments. The notebook, bookmark, photocards and stickers are cute! Totally worth getting the special edition.

The mood of this series is light and humorous. It was a nice break after some of the more serious danmei I have read lately <cough, ERHA vol 9, cough>. Hongjun is so sweet and innocent. I absolutely love him! ❤️ I also enjoyed the dynamic between Li Jinglong and his subordinates in the Department of Exorcism. They are constantly driving him crazy with their hijinks, and it is hilarious. I also love the beautiful artwork. Hongjun, in particular, is very colorful, with lots of reds and oranges. To be honest, it is one of the things that drew me to this series. 😂 I am looking forward to reading the next volume to see what these mischief makers get up to next! ❤️

Book is very interesting and I can’t wait to see what the next volume has in store. The bookmark , cards, notebook, and sticker sheet all came in good condition. The book came in pretty good condition, but as I was reading and getting towards the end of the book, I noticed there was a lot of words that were fading or looked like the ink didn’t take to the page very well.

My book arrived on time and in great condition. All extra items were included. There was no hassle. I enjoyed my experience with this seller.

Hongjun grew up in the Taihang Mountains the carefree adopted child of King Chong Ming along with his friend Zhao Zilong a carp yao that failed to cultivate into a human. Hongjun assumed his life would go on like this forever until one day Chong Ming informed him that Hongjun has a mission in the Divine Realm; he must head to Chang'an to join the Department of Exorcism and defeat the Yao King who will be brought back into the world soon. Not wanting to leave but not wanting to upset his adopted father Hongjun heads off the mountain to Chang'an where he will be joined by four other men to stop that yao threatening Chang'an. Unfortunately for them it appears that there were far more yao in Chang'an than they had ever imagined and they seem to be right next to the Emperor's side. Hongjun must be protected at all costs. That's it, that's review. Kidding, obviously but omg he was so absolutely adorably naive throughout the book that the thought of him getting hurt is not okay. The rest of the characters were amazing as well Li Jingloomg especially but Hongjun was simply too freaking cute! The pacing, world building, and everything else here was excellent as well but what I really *loved* about this is that unlike my other favorite danmeis Legend of Exorcism doesn't focus on the horrible things one of the MCs did (in a past life or otherwise) so we have a straight forward battle between the exorcists and the yao. It was incredibly nice to not have a ton of trauma dumping! Now, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with trauma dumping, it's just nice that wasn't the focus in this one. This unfortunately will probably change later on when everyone finds out about Hongjun's secret but for the moment it was genuinely just a fun adventure that reminded me of Saiyuki Reload. Also, I have to mention Zhao Zilong, he is a tiny version of the fish guys on Slayers, and I *loved* that! Highly recommend this one it would be a great place to start if you've never read a danmei and for those that have a refreshingly upbeat change from some of the emotionally heavier series!

Essa história é maravilhosa, o casal principal com uma química tão boa é bem construída, com secundários maravilhosos, engraçados e muito família. Fiz questao de ter a edição especial porque é uma história muito querida por mim. As artes coloridas estão um absurdo de lindas, as internas são um tesouro e a tradução tá ótima (li todo livro 1 já)

The book arrived in great condition. I would recommend ordering only one book at a time, because in my experience the packaging is more reliable this way. When you order multiple books together, Amazon often puts them all in one box, and sometimes they don’t arrive in perfect shape. So I would suggest doing what I did and ordering just a single book - it’s not guaranteed, of course, but most likely it will come in good condition. I’m very happy with this book.))
