Its a stopper
So far so good, most of the time the auto-lock fails to really hold in the first month. This tape has a different type of stopper. I really like it so far.

Unusually small belt clip.
I'd give it 3 stars if it cost even a dollar more. But for the price, it will suit a lot of people's needs. Magnet is good. It's only off about 1/64th of an inch and I've seen way more expensive tapes off a full 32nd and once or twice even 1/16th. Both lock releases work fine. The reel spring works fine. It will stand off at least 10 feet without folding.No markings on the bottom of the tape. There are a ton of tapes (even inexpensive ones) on the market with bottom markings. Once you've used a tape that's printed on both sides, you'll have a tough time appreciating a top-marked only tape.And the deal breaker for some people including me: The good news is that it's durable enough to be dropped a thousand times a day. The bad news is that you're going to drop it a thousand times a day. If you hang your tape on a tape measure clip on the outside of your tool bag or tool belt, the belt clip on this one is just too small and your tape will fall off every time you bump, touch, or slightly graze it on anything you encounter while carrying your bag. You'll knock it off your bag until you lose it or decide to just throw it inside the bag and live with the inconvenience. You'll knock it off your tool belt until you get sick of picking it up and you throw it in the garbage can at the entrance of the nearest supply house as you go in to buy a tape with a normal sized clip on it.

Almost perfect!
Love EVERYTHING about this. The only thing I wish is (KEEP THE PINK) but use black for the tape with big white easy to read numbers.
