The Sweeney: Golden Fleece / The Trojan Bus [DVD]

I l I love John Thaw and Dennis Waterman. This is a excellent series made in the 70's. I have bought all of the series "THE SWEENEY".It is old fashion style of policing and it is just great to watch.I was so sorry to find out John Thaw had passed at the young age of 60 in i think it was 2002.

My favourite two Sweeney episodes with those loveable lads from down under Patrick Mower and George Layton .Plenty of laughsNice and easy does

The series was quite good for its time and shows how the elite policeUnit worked.Regan plays the hard working , hard smoking drinking straight Unit commanderWho nearly always got his man or woman, thaw went onto make Morse in his later years his side kickCarter an equally hard drinker woman obsessed honest copper.there were lots of brawls and shootOuts in the series .......good for its time
