Solid Yard of Ale Glass

Very disappointed! The yard glass, is actually plastic and not even near a yard tall (more like a foot).

I own some half-yard glasses, roughly 18 inches, an actual "half yard". I've drank from yard glasses and they should be roughly 36 inches - a full yard. This lists height as 58 cm which is 22.8 inches. I don't mind that it's less than two feet, but calling it a "contemporary yard" is very misleading.

Now, another reviewer has mentioned that this isn't a yard of ale, and its not, but it does contain the same volume as an actual yard would. This glass is shorter and wider than the traditional, but I actually prefer it, it makes it much easier to drink from (being able to pick it up and drink with some solid stabiliser muscles without spilling it all over yourself, unlike with the traditional version). I also love the markings on the side, it can make some epically fun pre-drinks before a night out or just with a night in seeing who can get furthest. I would especially recommend purchasing if your the heavyweight within a group of friends. Trust me, it makes for some d**n good laughs.

This Yard of Ale is made of very thin glass, especially at the top. The stand is made of plywood. When the recipient first inserted the glass into the stand, a slight crack formed near the top (I attached the picture), but it did not cause the contents of the glass to flow out. Regarding the shipping and packaging, I have nothing to complain about.

Artikel ist gut und solide. Es gibt nur drei Sterne, weil die Schrift sich bereits beim ersten Benutzen abgenutzt.
