I bought this lamp for my patio in Miramar because the mosquitoes were driving me crazy. From the first evening, the difference was noticeable: the UV light catches the bugs and the electric grid zaps them instantly. I even saw several mosquito carcasses in the tray the next morning. What I loved: It’s quiet — the “zap” sound is gentle, not disruptive, so I could relax with clients without noise bothering us. Works both indoors and outdoors. I plugged it near the roof overhang and placed it about 3 hours before customers arrived; by the time we were chatting the yard was much calmer. Easy cleanup: just slide out the bottom tray, empty it, wipe it down, and done. Things to keep in mind: The UV glow is noticeable at night. If you put it too close to where people sit, the light might irritate the eyes. Placement matters: I found it works best away from where people are sitting — you don’t want it near the seating area because it draws mosquitoes toward it (and potentially toward you if you’re too close). Also, keeping it some distance from other light sources improves its effectiveness. Overall: This mosquito-killer lamp was a good investment. For the cost, I felt like I got value because the environment went from buzzing chaos to quiet and comfortable. If you’re as tired of mosquito bites and zzz-zapping sounds as I was, I definitely recommend giving one a try.

I had an infestation of little booger fruit flys in my garage. In three days this thing has zapped probably 1,000 flys. Very satisfying, highly recommend.

I used the zapper indoors. It worked very well< but six months after purchasing one of the bulbs died. The customer service was good and received a refund. Just wished it had lasted longer.

It arrived the next day. The prior day before ordering this item I killed 7 flies, and it took me over an hour. This item arrived and even though is not turned on, there are no flies it all. I cook, leave sometimes a little bit of food on the dishes and no flies it all. I believe the flies know that's a fly graveyard 😂 great buy. Thank you to the seller.

I purchased 2 of these in May of 2025. One I put outside for the mosquitoes and flies the other inside the house to catch the stragglers that happened to make it inside. The one outside. Its insane how many bugs this thing zapps. It is constantly going off. However, in December, the one on the inside. Which doesn't see much activity just went off and won't come back on. This should last much longer than 7 months with not that much use. I believe it must be a defect. Will reach out to the seller to inquire about a replacement.

This bug zapper has been working great so far. It was easy to assemble, it has to remain plugged in to work. The noise level is somewhat okay. As soon as anything touches it you hear the sound but it is very helpful in getting rid of mosquitoes. It also comes with light. I use it indoor

Works great so far. A little disappointed that it’s advertise as LED lighting, but the most important light (the blue light) is still florescent and not LED lighting. Minus one star for not being clear on the actual lighting. Zapper part works great day and night.
