They do what citronella candles do. They helped ward off the mosquitos and flies

They smell great (strong like I had hoped) but DO NOT STAY lite / burning more than 2 to 7 minutes with no wind/breeze. If there is a light breeze they won't stay lite at all (and that is if you can get them to light). I was trying these out before I ordered 10 to 20 of them, so glad I did. They are junk & would never buy them again, what good is a candle to keep mosquitos away that won't burn. Their customer support did reach out to me for a refund & replacement (which is unheard of), they were apologetic & tried to make it right which is why I gave them 3 stars instead of one.
