Cheirosa Hair & Body Perfume Mist

I was in need of a little winter pick me up, so this perfume mist (Cheirosa 62) was a self care gift to myself. I was also curious about Sol de Janeiro and what the buzz was all about. Knowing this is a popular fragrance with the younger set, I was worried it would smell too young or "teen-agey" but that isn't the case at all. The scent is actually lovely, soft, and feminine with more complexity than I was expecting. It's sweet but not overly so, and definitely wearable as a wintertime fragrance as well. It lasts a few hours, and the fragrance that lingers on my clothes smells amazing! It makes me feel good when I wear it, and that is what self-care is all about! I am looking forward to trying some of the other fragrances, too! If you need a little pampering, this is a great fragrance mist to try!

When I’m shopping for perfume, my go to is Sol de Janeiro. I love all the scents and how good they smell for a little amount of money. I mostly get 59 the jumbo, because it honestly smells so good and not too sweet. The bottle is very light, and it works great. The only problem is sometimes they don’t last that long. Anyway, I am obsessed with Sol de Janeiro, and excited to but more scents!

This Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa smells amazing! The scent is sweet, warm, and long-lasting. I get compliments every time I wear it. It’s perfect for daily use and feels very luxurious. Definitely one of my favorite fragrances!

I love Sol de Janeiro products, and trying out new fragrances. This is my first time trying out the Sol de Janeiro 39, and it is now one of my absolute favorite body sprays. I see what all of the hype is about with this particular scent! The bottle is a decent size, and I find that it's convenient to toss in my bag or purse. It's nozzle sprays well, and has a fine mist that is easy to apply to my pulse points. I also like adding some to my hair sometimes, as it adds a nice refreshing smell. The bottle is cute, and I love the teal green color. The lid fits on nicely, and stays on during traveling. There were no issues with leakage or anything when I received it. I like that this body spray has a decent strength to it, but it doesn't seem overwhelming or overpowering. I don't typically get headaches from (most) fragrances, and I definitely don't have any headaches with this spray. It's a great scent, without being too much. This spray is great for using alone, or for layering with lotion or even other fragrances. I love the layers of fragrance notes, and appreciate that this scent lasts longer than many of my other body sprays. I feel this is a great quality fragrance, and one with a delicious smell to it. Additionally, it can last for several hours without me needing to reapply. I've had no issues with irritations or headaches. Overall, I absolutely love how this spray smells on me. I've gotten many compliments while using it, and am very pleased with it's qualities. I think this is a decent value for the price, in my personal opinion. I would absolutely order this again; it's an amazing smell that is gourmand and sweet, with very nice notes. I'm in love with this fragrance!

I loooveeee Sol de Janeiro. Especially the 62, but man, oh, man… this smells so incredibly good! It’s reminiscent of a lovely coconuty/beachy scented sunscreen. I was going to write my review in my own words, but the Amazon generated ideas presented for this review are… Well, interesting. Let’s go over them, shall we? • Scent. Okay. Reasonable point. I already mentioned what it smells like though. Beach. Coconut. Sunscreen. Summer… but hopefully without the lemon juice or sun-in hair lightening bad idea, 6th degree of Hell sunburns, playboy bunny sticker tan line shape above the coochie covering low-riding jeans we all wore paired with 14 spaghetti strap layered tank tops and a QWERTY keyboard cell phone, alcohol induced blackouts, one-night stands, and week-long groundings. Looking at you, years 2003-2007. Anyway, moving on…. • Effectiveness? I guess it’s effective if effectiveness is determined perhaps by whether or not people might ask what scent you’re wearing. It isn’t particularly uncommon, and a reasonable question. If that is what is being determined here, then yes, it is effective. People generally have thought positive of the smell and inquire as to what it is. • Softness. Softness? What’s this mean? Like a soft scent? I guess I would describe it as a bright, bold, and airy, but still somewhat soft scent…maybe. Not like a light floral or baby powder scent though… More of a coconut scent. Slightly like sunscreen, in a good way. It smells like summer at the beach. Or the pool, I guess. I suppose it’s possible that someone might want to know if the bottle the body spray comes in is soft… or perhaps smooth, rather, and if that’s the case, then also, yes. Let’s not get it twisted here though… I don’t make it a habit to stroke bottles of body spray and determine the softness/smoothness of said vessel… That’s not something, I assume, most people are genuinely curious about. Maybe I’m wrong and way off base. Maybe it’s important to some people… But you know what? I don’t want to know why though. Please keep those thoughts and habits to yourself. Okay? Okay. Thanks. • Taste. Taste?! Sorry… I can’t help you out here. I am absolutely not tasting this body spray. If that’s your thing, please feel free to write your own review so we can all read exactly why company’s have to add warning labels to their products. Additionally, if you feel the need to taste this product, you might want to see your physician sooner than later because you probably have a condition called Pica… or Idiocy. I don’t know which… I’m not a doctor. • Value for money. Ah, yes, a normal and respectable review point. As far as value for money is concerned, I would say absolutely, yes. This stuff smells great. The quantity and scent itself generally lasts a while. It works well for casual occasions, and it’s just an overall happy scent. And I’m sure there are reviews that say, “The scent doesn’t last long,” “I have to reapply it often,” or “I can’t even smell it after 23 minutes 41 seconds [or insert random number of hours/minutes/seconds here]”. Look. Any perfume or body spray sprayed directly on the skin isn’t going to last very long. Things like body chemistry, environmental factors like heat and humidity, or fragrance concentrations can lessen the scent stick time on your skin. Pro Tip: Use an unscented moisturizer on your skin and then apply. OR… Spray it on your clothes. There are a few different methods… You can: 1.) spray it in the air and walk through it allowing it to cling to your skin (hopefully with unscented moisturizer applied first) and your clothes, 2.) lightly spritz it over your collar area, cuffs, etc., or 3.) do you and just go crazy with it by dousing yourself in the stuff like you’re an unbathed, male military member deployed to Iraq during the wretchedly hot summer months drenching yourself in PX/Shoppette purchased Axe Body Spray to mask your horrendous odor, and unsat lack of grooming standards, in the attempt to get the attention of the not-so-rare transformed stateside 3 to desert 10 deployment Queen… Also comparable to the applications standards of a cheap prostitute. Same same, ya know? Please, please don’t choose number 3. Best scenario, you end up with a case of regret (stateside 3 to desert Queen 10, remember?) and you still smell awful… like sour milk enhanced with coconut. Oh look! If it isn’t the consequences of your own terrible life choices! Anyway, just spritz it on your threads, within reason… of course. Giving people headaches (and nausea), because you lack the ability to smell it on yourself or properly bathe, isn’t cool. Sleep well, eat well, exercise, shower, brush your teeth, moisturize, spritz yo scents (liiigghhtttlyyy), and be happy. That, too, makes us all happy, headache (and nausea) free, and less likely to hate you for your overwhelming smells and bad decisions, okay? Okay. Taste though? Good grief. I’m all for natural selection and survival of the fittest, but… C’mon, Amazon. Taste? Seriously? 🤦🏼‍♀️

#71 smells good in the bottle , but once i sprayed it was didn't smell the same so Sprayed a little on my arm and smelled bad all night. No worth the money. #62 on the other hand smells amazing. I absolutely love . very much worth the money .

Every time I wear a Sol de Janeiro perfume, I feel like the Brazilian sun is smiling down on me. 🌞 Its fragrance is sweet, warm, and inviting, like a walk on the beach at sunset, with a gentle breeze and notes of caramel and flowers in the air. 🌺 It's not just a perfume; it's a feeling of joy and well-being that envelops you. It has that special touch that makes you feel confident, radiant, and ready to celebrate the day, even in the simplest moments. Sol de Janeiro is like carrying a little piece of summer on your skin—happy, luminous, and absolutely enchanting.

Im new to this brand. I have 62. Which smells like pistachio caramel and vanilla. But in perfume form? . I use the body wash as lotion because i love layering like that. I got compliments the first time I wore this. It smells absolutely wonderful wonderful wonderful!!!!!!!! Seriously it smells awesome. Perosonal tip: the vanilla and sweet notes dont mix well when your skin starts to sweat even a little. Actually no perfume does. Do you wonder if your perfume is offensive to others? I did. What works for me is to spray your perfume on your clothes not on your skin. It stays on for a lot longer! The smell on my sweater was there for a week after I first wore this! It absolutely has staying power which is unheard of for a body spray. Second, I store all my sprays in the fridge. They smell better and last longer and slows down the musky notes that perfumes tend to get. Last, I spray this on my shirt and sleeves thirty mins before I leave the house. It smells way better than spraying right before you leave. And I am generous when I use this because its body spray not perfume. I also got 40. It wasnt my favorite. It smells too flowery and old lady like. But still smelled very good in its own way. Good enough I would wear this around the house. This line makes good scents what can I say. Lastly, I got 87 which is my absolute favorite. This smells like coconut the beach and sunscreen. I personally love the smell of sunscreen! It doesnt have any creams you can buy unfortunately like the rest of the scents. But for me, the Hawiaan beach by Bodycology smells EXACTLY like this. If you want to try this but dont want to spend a lot, for five bucks you can buy the spray OR lotion from here and my local Walmart has it also. Its the perfect match for me. Anyway, 87 smells sooo good. Theres no way this can be too strong. It just smells like pure happiness and super feminine. All three of these scents were blind purchases for me by the way. Again, spray perfume on your clothes, not on your skin. I bought the bodycology body spray for five bucks just to spray on my sheets and pillow case. I also sprayed all over my sweater and I can still smell it the next day. Had I sprayed on my skin, it would be gone in an hour. For perfume, i dont go over five sprays. Two on each arm and one on my upper chest area. And i never leave the house if i freshly sprayed myself. It may not be strong to you but trust me others will be overwhelmed. At least 30 mins before I leave but i even perfer 45 mins. I lay my clothes out, spray them and then do my make up routine etc. The reviews for this helped me so much, I wanted to help someone out there that was thinking about buying one or many.
