Great, fits loads in and looks good. Delivery was interesting - saying because of Covid they couldn't deliver it to the kitchen, they wanted to leave it in the front garden. After a brief argument I persuaded them to at least get it into the living room and fortunately the wheels on it made it easy enough to get to the kitchen. Oh, and they had to remove the packing to get it into the house - it's not as big as some of the fridge freezers but even so, with the packing on it just wouldn't go - so be ware...

I love this fridge. I’m disabled so a side by side layout is perfect (no bending) and it’s got enough space to stick a tray of burger patties to chill for 5-10min before cooking and that sort of thing. Best fridge I’ve ever used. Get help to move it in - we damaged the flooring slightly as it is huge but I’m in love with this thing.

Most american style fridge freezers are 900 plus wide. I have an alcove in my kitchen and this fits nicely, being 833 wide. Also shallower than most units. With a total capacity of 450 litres there is plenty of interior space both for fridge and freezer, Seems well made and it nice and quiet in operation. Two rear feet are rollers, front feet adjustable for level. A nice quality item. You can pay a lot more and not get better. The clincher for me was its narrower width. Would buy again. Recommended.

Not impressed at all. First delivery and the door was damaged. It was taken back and the second fridge freezer had a similar dent but we accepted it as we were desperate. At the beginning of February it developed an intermittent high pitched whine. Lasts for a short while then stops. There seems to be no pattern to it. Went on line to place a repair request. That bit went relatively smoothly. No contact from an engineer so went on line to check status and it was recorded as “resolved by the contact centre” and “completed” on 2/2/21. Neither of this was factual as I had no contact with the contact centre nor had any one attended to the repair. Couldn’t use the on line enquiry service as it did not recognise Durham as a city in the UK. I was disconnected several times when ringing the contact centre number. Eventually sent an email out of frustration to the contact centre for hoover candy.com (who apparently look after Haier’s maintenance and repairs in the UK) asking for the repair to be arranged and for an explanation for the incorrect status of my request. What followed was a flurry of emails about product number, delivery date, etc but no mention of arranging the repair nor the requested explanation. Things have gone silent. Chased up a response 10th March and I’m still waiting. Add to this the fact that the Haier UK web site has no “complaints” provision I am increasingly of the view that having got my money Haier are no longer interested in me or my problems with their product. It’ll be a cold day in hell before I purchase a Haier product or indeed a Hoover/ Candy one. I’d advise you not to buy one either.

Great Fridge/freezer....good size but not overlarge. Very well made and solid.

I bought one of these fridge/freezers a year ago - the fridge is fine but I have real problems with the freezer. After one week of storage food is covered with frost and freezer burn - have to throw it away after a month. My previous freezer of 20 years, an Electrolux, never had this problem and I use the Haier in the same way. I have been told that I should only store a couple of items per shelf so their freezer capacity estimate goes out of the window if that is true. Was also told to lower the freezer temperature from -18C as recommended to -11C !!!! There is something inherently wrong with this appliance and it looks as if it will be going to the skip after only 1 year if Haier doesn't take the problem seriously.

Really lovely fridge freezer. Looks the part and works great. No drinks dispenser but no matter, lots of places to store bottled water or indeed large pre made jugs. Wish it came with dedicated bottle storage as one of the door compartments holds my wine and I'd prefer it were lay down. I received excellent service from the seller 'The Appliance Store' too.
