Very handy and ergonomically designed with minimalistic design. Build quality is pretty good, does not feel cheap at all like other ir guns. Omron is a brand one can trust. There were some basic confusions in the reviews, trying to clarify a bit from my experience. 1.Lots of people complained about temp unit change from C to F, but it is really simple, just need to follow the steps as mentioned in the booklet. When the display shows ambient temp, press and hold START button, press ON button and hold it for 3 -4 sec (keep start button pressed at that time as well), C will change to F or vice versa. 2. Lo will be displayed on taking forehead temp if the forehead is little wet or sweaty. Forehead should be absolutely dry to get correct temp. Er 1 will be displayed if successive reading is taken within 5 sec.

I recently purchased a thermometer from Amazon, and unfortunately, I have been quite disappointed with its performance. Firstly, the product itself is incredibly difficult and complex to use. This is a crucial flaw, as the primary purpose of a thermometer is to measure temperature accurately. It is frustrating to rely on a device that cannot provide reliable readings. Additionally, the overall user experience is far from satisfactory. The thermometer requires multiple steps to use, making the entire process cumbersome and time-consuming. It is certainly not user-friendly, which is a significant disadvantage, especially for individuals who value simplicity and efficiency. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against purchasing this thermometer. Its complexity, inaccurate readings, and lack of ease-of-use make it an impractical choice. I regret my decision and would recommend exploring other options available on the market that offer superior performance and user-friendliness.

Omron delivers good product but this thermometer is accurate but has its own draw back like not easy to replace a battery, always in on mode showing room temperature so battery life won't be great and battery used is CR2032 which is easy to get in any computer peripheral shop for Rs. 30/- to 60/- it depends commonly known as motherboard battery but has to be frequently replaced.

Product seems easy to use but the battery seems to be consumed very fast not sure if the battery was already opened on product I recieved as I didn't have to pull the tab as instructed. I have used this 3-4 times in a month and battery is showing as low for taking temprature but room temprature is always shown which seems to be consuming battery. Not sure if this is same issue being observed by other users of the product.

Quality product. Very Happy with the purchase. Before buying this tried 3 or 4 IR thermometer but none of them was accurate so had to return them. Then came across this one. Initially the price appeared to be a bit high. But after using it, very happy as it not only gives accurate body temperature without contact but also gives room temperature too. Also both scales can be used - centigrade as well as Fahrenheit. Overall very good product. Would recommend buying this.

Purchased this product from amazon with one day delivery. Very satisfied with the product. Easy to use if you have a glance of the user manual. I have been using omron product for the last 5 years and its always the best in clinical apparatus. Bought this for my 2 year old kid. very easy to get the temperature rating within seconds. you can switch it on and off therefore there is not much power wastage. I had seen lot of negative reviews regarding this product in the same amazon page. but i cant understand what is the motive behind it. of all the available products in this price range omron is always reliable and you can go ahead with purchasing it.

The promise of a "1-second temperature reading" means absolutely nothing if that reading can't be trusted. Every single time I use it, the numbers are way off compared to a traditional oral thermometer. The list of "do's and don'ts" is exhausting. If you don't perfectly balance all of these environmental factors, you end up with wild variances or A medical device shouldn't require laboratory-perfect conditions just to get a baseline body temperature. If you need something reliable and quick without a 20-step preparation checklist, look elsewhere. The person was outside in the cold or just took a bath within the last 30 minutes. They are sweating, wearing cosmetics, or have hair slightly blocking their forehead. The device hasn't acclimated to the exact room temperature for at least 30 minutes. You hold the thermometer in your hand for too long (which alters its ambient sensor). You aren't positioned exactly 1 to 3 cm away from the absolute center of the forehead.

When someone is running a fever of 101 F or 102 F (as measured orally by Hicks mercury thermometer), this pathetic piece of technology shows around 98.4 or at max 99.5. This is a serious case of premature launch of a health related product, based on which people plan their medicines and course of treatment. I was shocked to see the clinicals and hospitals using it. I always tell them to measure the armpit temperature or if possible oral. Even yesterday, I went to a clinic as I was running 101 F fever, the person measured using forehead thermometer by Omron, it showed 98.5. I asked him to measure armpit temperature, it was 100.5. Stay away from it, it is instant but never accurate so what's the point. It was just ok during covid times where malls and public places had to just screen folks running very high temperatures. No wonder why covid spread as many who were running temperature never got caught at the airorts or other public places. In the fast paced world, accuracy and quality have taken a backseat.

Non si sente il suono. La luce accende in ritardo e solo dopo avere premuto per la valutazione. Delusione totale .non è alla altezza dei prodotti Omron in mio possesso. non vale la pena comprarlo solo per la sua bellezza esterna e per una buona confezione.

Superb product very easy to use. Outstanding product

It is really easy to use. And its really accurate. Just need to read the manual first. Pls note that "Lo" means that the temperature taken is too Low for the thermometer to register. After taking the temperature, the "head" indicator will blink for a few seconds. During this time, the next temperature CANNOT be taken. If taken, it will show "Error". Just wait for a few seconds for the "head" indicator to stop blinking and it is ready to be used again.

Got it for home use and loved the accuracy of it
