Good for taking of the upper coat of dog, not for deep deshedding.

It is exactly like it looks. Soft bristles to brush a pup or give a dog a bath as it will help to lather up and get to the skin. Price wise my be a little more than appropriate but then you are getting it home delivered. Easy to use. Will not be of much help in brushing if you have a dog with long hair. For bathing it should be useful for all dogs and even cats.

I ordered this comb for my beagle puppy at Rs 170 a piece. A day later I happened to go to a pet shop for his grooming and to my utter surprise the shop was selling same exact comb for Rs 65 only. First image is how I received the comb wrapped in a plain poly pack. Second (showing the price) & third image is of the comb that I bought from the pet shop. Fourth image is the comparison image which shows that both combs are just the same. Don't get fooled and order from here, buy it from your nearest pet shop. Also the comb came in a box ten times bigger, wrapped with at least a meter long bubble sheet. Why bubble sheet and that to a meter long, be environment friendly use less of plastic. You could have used a newspaper or some shredded paper. Please be mindful of our pockets and of our environment Thanks
