Replacement Carafe for Moccamaster KBG Coffee Maker Brewers Technivorm (89830) 10-Cup 1.25L 40oz, Glass Coffee Pot

Somehow this carafe seems to be higher quality and more solid than the original we’re replacing, which we’d purchased directly from Moccamaster.

This carafe looks and fits just like the original. The only differences are improvements. The glass is thicker, hopefully will last longer than the original one, I’ve replaced it 3 times already, breaks just looking at it and the pour spout drips. This one doesn’t drip, also it’s dishwasher safe, original no. Happy with my purchase.

Do not buy this item. While it is well-designed, the quality is poor. The handle appears to be glued to the glass and fell apart after only 4–5 months of moderate use. The seller's customer service is also terrible. I spent almost a week going back and forth trying to get a replacement or a refund. They repeatedly sent automated messages claiming that a refund had been issued, but I kept explaining that the credit card used for the purchase was no longer active. Despite this, they continued to send the same responses without addressing the issue. I'm not sure whether they simply didn't care or failed to understand the problem, but the experience was extremely frustrating and unhelpful.

Works well and much less $$$ than buying from mfg.

We got this one because it was $10 cheaper and I don’t necessarily regret it, but it is annoying that it spills if you pour too fast. As long as you pour slowly, it works just fine. The quality is otherwise the same as the one our coffee pot came with.

Lid a big harder to get off than OEM carafe. Also it seems to hold in the heat better as it steams up inside and my old one didn't. But it's just fine. I was a klutz and broke the original (after 8 years). This one came in 2 days and saved me! Can't live without my Moccamaster coffee in the morning!

No issues at all and in fact a bit thicker than the OEM replacement I am replacing. More like the original that came with the coffee maker many years ago. The poor spout is a little bit different but I know no issues with dripping, etc..

Love this. Love the ease of throwing it in the dishwasher and not worrying! The one that came with my original Mochamaster.. turned and got cloudy. I hated looking at it. Love this one!

Works perfectly! Not sure what others are complaining about pouring? Pours like any coffee pot does. If you pour faster than the spout allows, it will run all over the place, but thats the same as every coffee pot I have ever used or seen. I have the Moccamaster and by far, glass is thicker and regardless of what ad says, I would never put a coffee pot in a dishwasher. So decent price and works great!
