I don't go anywhere without this! I've been using this Huepar BLM-100G for a little over a month now after upgrading from my older Bosch Blaze, and honestly, I'm impressed. The dual-laser setup, screen rotation, and adjustable reference modes make measurements extremely fast and convenient. Being able to change the reference point is honestly one of my favorite features because it gives you a lot more flexibility depending on the room and how you're measuring. Not every room is just a wide-open space. Sometimes you have trim, obstacles, tight corners, or furniture in the way, and being able to switch between different reference points and measurement styles makes this much more versatile than my old Bosch ever was. Accuracy has been excellent. I've checked it against a tape measure multiple times and have had no issues. You just need to keep it reasonably straight when using dual measurement mode so your readings stay accurate. Indoors, this thing works extremely well and has honestly become one of my favorite measuring tools. Outdoors in bright sunlight, visibility isn't the greatest, but that's pretty common with laser measures in general. Overall, for the price, features, accuracy, and build quality, I think this is an excellent laser distance measurer for both contractors and homeowners. Very happy with the purchase.

This tool is excellent. I use this almost daily as a Home Energy Auditor/Evaluator and it's extremely useful. The only complaint I have is that I wish they would have given us a carry attachment for the belt instead of the bulky zipper container it comes with, but I love this tool. I previously had the red model, but I accidentally left it on a job, so I purchased the green one and I do my best to never leave it behind. Laser visibility was good with the red, but it's better with the green. The tool is light weight, easy to use, and accurate enough for the work I do. Another thing I've noticed is that this tool seems very durable, though I do try my best not to drop it. It may seem a bit pricey, but it's cheaper than the big name brands and has more functionality. Overall, you can't go wrong with this!

Now this is a good one. I had purchased one that didn't work outside in the daytime and had other problems. This unit does the job. Especially like the double-ended lasers on it so you don't have to go to a corner of a yard or room to measure it; stand anywhere and shoot both end walls to measure the distance. Also measures volume, height of objects like flagpoles, etc. Has any really helpful features too many to list here. Read the ad. Not only measures but performs all kinds of calculations for you. Really a very good unit worth every dollar.

Excellent laser measuring tool! The dual laser feature is SUPER handy! I've had numerous lasers from Leica & Bosch over the years and as I've gotten older I hate having to get down on the floor to set this where I need to in order to get the full height of a point in a ceiling 25-125' up. The Leica I have costs upwards of $350. This little thing was under $100 and is excellent!

I couldn't get long readings outside, also I had to push the button hold it steady for a second or two to get a closer reading outside. I have a Leica red laser where you get a reading instantaneous, but I wanted a green laser as it was suppose to be easy to see outside in bright conditions

I just received this range finder tool, purchased for measuring house & lot dimensions, as I embark on my journey to find and purchase a house. After playing around with it, I discovered a couple of things. It works and is really pretty accurate, within an inch, for indoor measurements (checked it against a tape measure). The square footage calculation is handy, once you get the hang of the sequence of which buttons to press. For outdoor use in the sunlight, it was initially disappointing, throwing an 'Error 1' reading every time, until I discovered a critical thing: You have to have it completely stationary when you hit the 'measurement' button when working with long distances. I was hand-holding it, which I guess made the laser dot jump around too much for the device to zero in on the distance. Once I lay the device on a piece of lawn furniture (nice that the back is magnetized!), or held it to a tree trunk, and pressed 'measure', it worked fine. There's also a 1/4-20 mounting socket, which will fit on any standard camera tripod. Having two lasers to measure and add a distance while standing in the middle of the yard is quite useful. I also discovered that aiming it at a bright surface, such as a white painted picket fence in full sun, didn't work consistently. So best to aim it at neutral or dark surfaces when using it outside.

So far it turns out to be very useful tool. It seems to be accurate and I have used a few of the functions, that make a real difference.

Good tool, but could be better. instructions can be a little rough to understand, especially for setting the calibration. Once you figure it out, it is straight forward. As others have pointed out, this tool is more suitable for indoor use as it is unusable outside in the daytime.

Helps to make quick measurements in cluttered environments, quite adequate per our needs.
