I build elevators and these really help me get everything plum and true. Magnets are great tough construction. Gotta say it’s one of the better ones I’ve used.

One of the best plumb bob system out there. Nice compact why of keeping a plumb bob line and mount all together in a neat package. Very accurate and easy to mouth with the retractable spike to mount it to any nailable surface. Line self retracting line with simple tug. Built tough to handle jobsite abuse

The perfect answer to the problems of a Door Level
This is a top quality tool with all the bells and whistles. No more carrying around a 6ft-ish magnetic level, being careful not to bang it out of calibration. This fits in the toolbag, and can stand up to all the abuse. -stretching the line out to a specific length is a breeze. it does exactly what you want it to. Also comes with a tension adjustment, scaling from super smooth action with millimeter precision to steadfastly holding the length you drew it out to. My teacher has had one of these for over 15 years, and it still works perfectly, even when a little beat up. This is a time-tested product used by those who want speed, precision, and durability.

Good tool
It's very large, it's very sharp. For a surveyor I wouldn't recommend because as a surveyor you spend a lot of time with a plumb Bob and tape in the same hand. I manage to make that work by facing the magnet towards my hand and the tape on top of the plum Bob, works well for vertical concrete and doors because of the magnet, haven't tried anything I would need the spike for but I'm sure it holds up.
