Can it get mixed with other colours to give a glow effect?

first , it does not glow all night . Only for some time .Logically , it should not work mixing with other colors .

Do we have to charge this in light befre it glows in the dark ??

Yes. Usually Radium glows only based on light absorption. The more light it absorbs, then it glows more.
