'One of the most complete and moving accounts I've ever read... On behalf of all of us who grope toward understanding, thank you, Mr Partridge; thank you, thank you, thank you.' Edward Hallowell, MD, author of 'ADHD 2.0' and other books 'Alex is rich, successful and an entertaining and concise communicator. Alex is also very ADHD . You want to read this book for all these reasons. It helps that it is short. ' Kate Spicer 'Truly life changing . The perfect antidote for shame' Samantha Hiew PhD, founder of ADHD Girls 'A powerhouse of a book. Deeply validating' Rich and Roxanne Pink (ADHD Love) 'Thank you, Alex, for making us feel seen, heard and celebrated !' Martine McCutcheon FROM THE HOST OF THE GLOBALLY ACCLAIMED 'ADHD CHATTER' PODCAST Aged just 21, Alex Partridge founded UNILAD and LADBible, social news sites which now have a following of 100 million people around the globe. A legal case over ownership in 2017 tipped him over the edge of the cliff into alcoholism, triggering years of mental health issues until, aged 34, he was diagnosed with ADHD. Now it all makes sense. In his chart-topping podcast, ADHD Chatter, Alex has spoken to dozens of experts on ADHD and related conditions in a bid to understand and improve outcomes for the neurodiverse population - and this groundbreaking book brings them all together, for the first time, in one place. A blend of lived experience and expert insight, this deep dive into ADHD has the power to change your life. If you've ever wondered why you can't remember those critical appointments, how you can be hyper-focused one minute and down a YouTube rabbit-hole 30 seconds later, or why do people walk so slowly? then this relatable and unashamedly honest book is for you. Written with Alex's trademark raw vulnerability, Now It All Makes Sense distils the essence of all the most important need-to-knows, from parenting with (and for) ADHD, to managing your mental health, your finances and even your shopping list. Most importantly it celebrates the opportunities and strengths, unique skillsets and positive traits of ADHD to remind you that you are NOT broken - and you are enough. Review: 🙏Best book I ever bought for myself❤️🙏 - Despite the age difference, which, hey sometimes it makes a difference. Alex is AWESOME, he describes his own personal journey with ADHD leading up to the book and SO-SO MUCH is SO RELATABLE !!! I haven't finished it yet. As a late diagnosis and a lot of sudden changes in life. It'll definitely be a book I'm reading cover-cover to help myself and the ones in my life. To be able to connect and to communicate with the ones you love, to get to know the real you. He has so many helpful hints, talked to so many experts in the field of ADHD, other people who struggles with ADHD. I am also hoping to learn how to love myself, give myself patience, compassion and allow myself to heal. I know the more I heal, the better I person I become. Healing starts with yourself. Alex also has a pod cast. Which is also so very helpful. 🙏 Many, many Blessings to Alex and all those who have ADHD or any other mental illnesses. And to ALL those who help and support the one's you love 🙏 💜🙏🩵 To those who wished to or would love to help someone in your life, to know and understand the Who, What, How to help and have helpful solutions and directions, This Book is SHORT, SWEET, SIMPLE, and HEARTWARMING 💜🩵💜🩵💜 Review: Now it all Makes Sense a Great Read - I have a niece that has just been diagnosed with Adult ADHD. This book “Now it all Makes Sense” absolutely helped me understand what my 50 year old niece has been going through her whole life. It helps explain so much about her behavior that I thought was so inappropriate at times. As the title says, Now it all makes sense! I have been able to gain so much more empathy for my precious niece and realize the struggles she has had her whole life. I would recommend this book to everyone that works with people, you never know when a ADHDer is hiding in plain sight!

Great book!
Excellent book. This is a terrific follow-on book for those who have been through the introductory ADHD books. It is based on his podcast and features all kinds of knowledge from experts. And the advice is more sophisticated than other good, but more ADHD beginner books. The knowledge really helps me understand myself and others. I believe we are all on a "spectrum" of sorts with our "alphabets" (ADHD, ODD, ADD, PTSD, etc.) and this book just helped me learn. I was diagnosed at 72. I masked all my life and wondered why was it So difficult for me and why did it seem I was hurting myself? Forget that! My ADHD has helped me and probably more ways than I know. Enjoy this book!

Great read for those who suspect they may have ADHD
This book offers a realistic glimpse into what nuanced ADHD symptoms and habits look like in day-to-day life. It's accessible and easy to read and digest. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I was hoping Alex would dive more into running a business and some of his stories/personal history/etc. as an entrepreneur. Instead, the book focuses on all aspects of his life, which is interesting, but I was also hoping to get more insight into how he started and scaled his businesses. Great read overall.

I was in tears at page 1
I ran across Alex in a reel while doom-scrolling a year ago. I binged on his content reel-after-reel for the next hour and felt my life implode because I too had experienced everything he described for the past 50 years. Everything. Now, everything makes sense, and everything got better for me because I quit hiding. For me, Alex's book is a continuation into understanding how a mentally overactive ADHD life feels. Within the first few pages I burst into tears many times because what Alex shared cracked open some distant painful memory. To be honest, I'm not sure how I made it this far without a proper diagnosis. Sure, I could pick out a few areas in the book that didn't feel quite finished. But everything else does feel well rounded because it resonates so well with me. Sure, not everything he suggests would work for me or my partner. But a lot of it does. And most importantly it works for me and the relationship I have with myself. Sure, I would love to read more about how Alex's life started, became overwhelming, and crushed his soul. But, that's only the start. It's equally important to see what happened and how things are better for him today. While I understand where those criticisms come from, I can immediately dismiss them because of the fundamental need of ADHD to share the experience. And that is probably the best summary of both my life and Alex's book. You are welcome to criticize because you don't agree, now let me share my experience. And if that review makes sense to you, you owe it to yourself to read Now it all Makes Sense.

The title is accurate
When you’re a person who was diagnosed with ADHD at 35 years old and have had so many mental health issues, this comes as a hug, reassurance that you’re not alone and that you’re okay with your way of being. Thank you so much for sharing and helping with this amazing book.

Just a series of personal anecdotes
Just a series of the author's personal anecdotes. Nothing really serious or insightful
