The empty pads that came with them are very thick and super absorbent – they can hold a lot of oil! I didn't love the scented pads that came with them. I appreciated that they were foil sealed so everything in the box didn't smell like them. They were a really strong floral and that's just not my jam. I got these for essential oils – think orange, not rose. haha I really didn't need the scented pads, and would've rather just had another set of empty ones. But that's me!
