How long is the electrical cable that comes with the pump?

The electrical cable that is integral to the pump is a few feet long and can be spliced to the electrical line going back to the power box. I believe it was ~6ft. long. In the spirit of too much information: The splice technique I used was to get a submersible splice kit (available on Amazon or Lowe's). It comes with the splices and a special heat shrink tube that has a rubberized coating that oozes out when it is shrunk over the splices. I also covered the splice with 3M type 33 black tape as an added insurance policy. This tape is putty-like and bonds to itself when wrapped. I also used the 3M tape to cover all of the barbed fitting/hose clamp plumbing joints and the cast housing of the pump. The pump has been in for several months and works like a champ. You will not be disappointed with the quality and performance of this pump.

Does the hallmark ma0414x-7a deep well pump come with electrical cable

The cable is about 6 feet long that comes attached to the pump. You can get the electrical splices and the wire you need to complete the installation from Home Depot.

Has anyone used this pump for an extended period (5-10 years)? Curious of feedback.

I believe I've had mine in for at least 5 years. Our well is right at 100 feet deep 200 feet from house and is hard water. I was concerned about 120 voltage but no problem as of yet.
