Before I purchased this product, I spent around 4000/- repairing electronics. First the Computer SATA power cable burnt & then the refrigerator failed. In both cases, tiny droplets of water formed due to moisture caused short circuit. so thats when I thought of purchasing these packets. I purchased these big packets along with 100 or so tiny 5 gm packets to help my case. About this product, These are big 100 gm sachets, almost palm size. with good absorption capacity. I put one inside the computer case and another one behind my wall mounted TV. I was surprised to see within two days how much of the granules had turned into water. Its better to spend a few 100's on these packets or lose thousands in repairing destroyed electronics.

Buying is it every 2 months to prevent moldy smell and moisture from traditional clothes that cannot be washed and are rarely worn

I have ordered this product multiple times now. Left(white one) is the how it comes and right(gel form) is the later version when it absorbs water. So good and satisfying. My material in the drawers are safe. Longevity is mostly 3 months. No leakage and scent as such.

It does what it's supposed to do..that is no fungus and smell etc but to throw and buy/ replace it every month per cupboard tends to get expensive. Two star less because of price. In the long run; I think it'll be cheaper to build a closet and buy an electric dehumidifier instead!

I bought these 'Absorbia' moisture-absorbent sachets (pack of three) for Rs.299 back in June 2019. The delivery was on time, and the product was well-packed. I live in a moderately dry (climate) city, and these moisture-absorbents worked for me like a charm. I placed two sachets inside a cupboard where I have kept some of my high-end electronics and used the third one inside a shoe rack. All of those sachets lasted for 40 - 50 days. POSITIVES: 1. Large surface area (Length ~ 15 cm, Width ~ 8.5 cm). 2. Good quality silica absorbent. 3. It can soak moistures up to 200 ml. 4. It usually lasts between 25 - 45 days depending upon the humidity of the location. You need to replace the absorbent once the content inside completely turns into a gel-like substance. 5. It absorbs unpleasant odors (shoe racks, moldy cupboards, etc.) to some extent. NEGATIVES: 1. The price is on the higher side. I would gladly recommend this product to the other shoppers. I have been buying this since moving to Mumbai and cannot even think to go through the monsoons without these in all the cupboards and shoe racks. The pouches definitely get the job done. They remove the musty smell already present in cupboards and prevent mould from forming. One pouch only lasts about three to three-and-a-half weeks, which is the only negative I feel. Given the price and the longevity of the product, they come out to be a little expensive, especially for repeat buyers like me. However, I consider that a small price to pay for peace of mind, at least in the dreadful Mumbai monsoons. I order a set every month, till the end of monsoons and will order again.
