Best lock lubricant out there for years defiantly worth buying
Lock-Ease has been around for years and is the best product out there for lubricating any lock and keeping them working smoothly it is my go-to for lock lubrication and I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to keep their locks working easily and properly.

Lube Your Locks!
Great product for all house and door lock mechanisms. After using on a door lock - they all work much more smoothly and with less force. I am confident this will extend the life of these door locks.

Smooths up locks and key operation. Can leave a little black residue.
This works great but as others have stated, it can be a bit messy. Just carry a rag with you to wipe off the key and around the lock after you apply the product. My locks operate smoother than when they were brand new. No complaints.

Surprisingly Good Stuff
Please folks, no more complaints about how messy it is. It -is- messy. Make the effort to protect yourself and any areas you don't want this on if you don't want to clean up afterward. And for the sky-is-falling crowd, a little isopropyl alcohol cleans up spots quickly and beautifully. Applied it to a Titan doorknob lock that has never worked properly since I got it several years ago. Took it apart several times and never found an issue but it would never twist-turn to lock. I suspect there may be a part or two barely bent or out-of-true causing it to bind when fully assembled. No worries .. a couple of shots of this dry lubricant and shazaam!, the twist-turn lock has never operated so smoothly. This task now out of the job jar forever. Installed a rather expensive Larsen three-hook Security Storm door three days ago. The wife was (correctly) complaining about how difficult/hard the internal latching mechanism was for her to set. Appropriate sprays to four different locations and a little repetitive twisting and she's a very happy camper right now. The spray's carrier is pretty volatile (evaporates quickly) so there is no residual moisture or oil in treated areas to leak or stain. What remains is a microfine layer of dry lubricant that seems to stick to surfaces and not shed, flake or settle away from where it's needed. This stuff will work well on housed cables (bikes, 'cycles, speedometers), locks, interior door hinges or any other small area inappropriate for liquid lubricants. And this stuff is also better than silicone for locks. And for folks that lose the spray tube (included), try saving leftover ink pen housings and store the straws in those. You can tape or velcro (whatever) the pen tube to your cabinet or throw it in the toolbox. I've never managed to lose one of these things after storing in a pen tube. All-in-all, it's only a tad pricey but I've worked with a number of graphited products before and this stuff strikes a nice balance.

The lock works with ease
This made the 2008 Honda pilot lock work like brand new compared to how difficult it was to use. I had to shake and jam the key in and wiggle the key back and forth to pull it out. Now it works very smoothly.

Works great - freed up a sticky lock mechanism on a 1996 Jeep!
The only negative - BUY A BIGGER CAN! You'll end up fixing a lot of little things around the house and your vehicles with this stuff. It's brilliant! We used it on my dad's 1996 Jeep - he had one door that he insisted did NOT work - he couldn't get it to open. We pulled the door panel off and found out that it was just that the OEM white grease they spray up into the mechanisms was all gummed up, and he'd partially bumped the child lock on that door. When he closed the door, it was just enough that when you pushed on the exterior handle/button to open the door, the button couldn't push the old, gummed-up lock mechanism all the way. A few squirts of this stuff and it moved like it was brand new! We ended up popping out all the little access plugs on the doors and spraying ALL the mechanisms, and ALL of them moved MUCH easier. My dad didn't even realize how sticky the rear door hatch lock was until we lubed it. This stuff is something I'll keep handy, as I've got cars ranging from the early 1990's to 2012, and I live in a hot, dry, dusty environment. I liked that this wasn't so over-pressurized like some of the other lubricant sprays that end up spritzing everywhere or foaming all over the place. This brand is easily applied with the little extension tube, doesn't make a huge mess (despite having black graphite in the lubricant mix), and cleans up easily. That may sound like it doesn't matter, but when you need to use this, it's usually where you're holding something open/away with one hand and have to control the spray can with the other, and it's nice not to get sprayed back in the face or make a mess all over the car. :) My dad was so impressed with the job we did on his Jeep that he bought two cans - one to replace mine, and another to keep on hand just in case. A very reasonable solution to sticky locks and hinges in the car.

They dont sell it on the shelf anymore because its so good, you spray it on hinges
this stuff is MAGIC. They dont sell it on the shelf anymore because its so good, you spray it on hinges, inside all lock mechanisms (padlocks, doors, automotive)and thats it, youve serviced it for years. Works great to keep things moving at minus 40 degrees, cleans and lubricates padlocks that are left outside in the elements... just give it a shot into the mechanism and the shackle. No other product is good enough for me anymore.
