Newhouse Hardware Hardwired Chime Kit with 16-Volt/30VA Transformer and Surface-Mount White Button

A direct replacement to what was in the house. Inexpensive, loud and very functional. It was easy to install because it matched the existing chime box and transformer.

I needed a new mechanical doorbell and it had to work with my existing SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Pro. The transformer specs appeared to align with those SimpliSafe provides but I could not find any confirmation. I decided to give it a try. It works great! I am also pleased with the chime itself... sounds like a doorbell and the volume is just right. (For those who read this and have the SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Pro, make sure you have the SimpliSafe Chime Connector... if you don't have it, you can call SimpliSafe to order one).

Came with all the components needed to replace my old 60's antique doorbell.

Perfect for Google Nest doorbell. Instructions could be clearer, and that includes pretty much every instruction set or video you find online of method instructions. They all talk about matching the terminals on the transformer to the come, but the transformer terminals aren't marked. I'm the case of the Google Nest wired doorbell, they aren't marked either, and specifically say it doesn't matter. Well, neither do the transformer terminals. Doorbell button to transformer with one wire. Same color wire goes to the front terminal on the chime. The other wire goes to the transformer, and the transformer terminal on the chime. That's your complete circuit.
