How big of a screen size can I get if the projector is only 5 ft from the wall?

Will this projector work with the use of my laptop

Projector can be used with laptop！ 1) Connecting Cables: Connect the video input port HDMI of the projector to the corresponding video output port of the laptop. Make sure the cables are securely connected. 2) Turn on the E1 mini projector and laptop 3) On the laptop, right-click on a blank space on the desktop and select "Display Settings" or similar option. In Display Settings, select the "Multiple Displays" or "Expand These Displays" option. 4) Detect Projector: Click "Detect" button, the system will automatically search and detect the connected projector. If the projector is not detected, you can try to re-plug the cable or restart the laptop and projector. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you encounter any questions during use. I've lost the remote control for my projector.

You can ask the seller, their service is superb good, I lost my remote control immediately sent me a replacement.

I need to have this projector about 13 ft away from my screen, which is about 80 inches diagonal. Can the projector zoom up to 50%?

Thanks for the question. You don't need to Zoom up at 13 ft, you need to Zoom down. But if this distance is necessary, the movie projector can't put such a small picture, the minimum can only be about 98 inches.
