Just purchase this product .. do not know how effactive it is, but the expiry date is not visible on this item and using a personal care product whithout information of expiry date is always risky.

It all depends on the way you want to style your hair. It is listed as wax, but whereas I've used it, it seems like a glue and might fall under the hair glue category. Be wary as to not rub too much into your hair as it might form into flakes and seem like dandruff. It gives a matt look to your hair and also saps out hydration off your hair, so better use it occasionally, as frequent use isn't suggested. I would say the only pro is that it is cheaper than other hair products, but I would say not to compromise on skin or hair with a product which you feel fits your bill. It functions for its price. Nothing special. You have been warned not to apply too much or use it too frequent or voraciously rub your hair after applying this product in order to style it the way you want it. It gives a glue like hold, a dry and sticky hold initially, and at that time, I would suggest you need to just manipulate your hair very carefully and it would hold and not try to re-manipulate it over and over as your finger's friction through your sticky hairs might damage your hair.

Does the job (keeping hair under control) efficiently without drawing attention to itself either by appearance or perfume. I am buying this for the last several years. This is for hair. For beard you need something stronger.

It is like white cream from inside, you just need to apply it on your hair, normally I use little water with it so I can adjust/shape my hair the way I can! Trust me it have very good holding power, but be careful don't apply on unnecessary area and apply very limited don't apply too much as it have very strong power to hold. I used set wet and all but they will not give you desired results! This is costly but worthy of buying it! I would suggest to wash your hair properly after using this wax.

its a great product! i have used gatsby matt black wax before as it was good ,has thick cream had done a decent hair dressing so i thought of moving the product by buying a new one so i bought extreme and firm the purple one but its not like a thick cream but a little water-y so i thought i wasted for buying after i starts to apply then the extreme holds come to plays .it has a great for within 20 seconds after you apply suggestion to use: wet your hair completely or take a bath,then dry your hair using hair dryer or towel dry but hair dryer will be good then take a little amount of it rub in your palm start apply this product start from root to top then after setting it to your wish complete it with your hair spray like gatsby hair spray or anything to hold it completely but it holds like 8-9 hours that seem fair enough for a user. I will suggest this product .if you think your hair will damage take it to your own risk as it is just 200 bucks they may not offer for your haircare warranty...

Discovered this stuff in the Philippines. Had to buy some when i got back - its the best hair product I've used. It's a bit like cement for your hair - it looks really runny initially - but within minutes it sets and keeps your hair in place for longer than any other product I've used unless you wash your hair properly. This product kept my mohawk/faux-hawk standing for 3 days in a row in just one application! Great stuff - wish they started selling it in the UK!

Holds well and you only need to use a little wax.
