The worlds finest BUIS, and to think I bought these just on word of mouth...
Not enough good can be said about these BUIS sights!!! They are solid, much more solid then the other polymer sights that are its competition... Beautiful injection molding with smooth sides... Well thought out design with the diamond shape aperture, but also the hood being diamond shaped as well to give your ling of sight that much more to go by... I got this set for my Kel Tec KSG and never been more happy with a set of sights then I am now... The spring load flip up is robust and firm, but with the button on the side instead of the front like its competitor, your not busting your thumb knuckle every time you engage it... I also love the NiteBrite glow in the dark feature on the front and rear... Its not tritium which has a shelf life, but actual glow in the dark infused into the sites itself... Which is even nice during the day time and lighted situations due to the NiteBrite when not in use just give your sights an extra advantage of alinement with the white/greenish bars... On a side note, when I received my order and was so amazed being these were better then I originally thought, I called the seller/company to just say how much I thought of their product. Very nice people. I could hear the shop in the background which tells me this company is very serious about what they do. But very plesant to talk with on the phone as well... I am going to replace all of my BUIS sights soon and use all Diamondhead. Maybe not all of them in the Polymer as they also make in metal which I will use on my ar's, but the polymer on my tactical shotguns. Either way, Im switching to all Diamondhead...

Great Sight! "Buy Once Cry Once" when buying quality!
When it comes to purchasing quality I stand behind a saying "Buy Once Cry Once." Paying for quality products is expensive at times but purchase products that will last. These flip up sights are amazing, for me they were zeroed right out of the packaging. There unique design make for quick target acquisition. If you're using a free float rail and don't plan on heavy combat, these will be perfect for you. However, if your mounting to a gas block, the Polymer front sight will not work for you as they will get to hot. If you plan on heavy combat, then the Diamondhead or Troy Combat Sights are a must. But for your everyday recreational shooting or hunting, the polymer sights are perfect. The Nightbrite strips on the sights line up great for night time shooting, just hit it with your LED flash light and shoot. The Nightbright strips stay luminated for approximately 15 mins after a short burst with an LED. Diamondhead is a proven brand and these sights live up to their reputation! I highly recommend them.

Pretty good for the price!!! Detailed review...
The sights and concept are phenomenal. The fit is a bit tricky. It is a pretty tight fit on the rail, having to tap with a rubber mallot. When secured to the rail, the forward sight deployment was only partial, stopping around 80 degrees, just short of the full 90 degree sweep to final stop. These were installed in a Diamondhead VRS-T KeyMod guard, so I expected full compatibility. Support with Diamondhead as always is phenomenal, with an offer to replace the sights. I am testing a few things, so far this has somewhat resolved the issue: light application of a Teflon based lubricant on all moving parts, loosening slightly the securing thru bolt, but concerned of back threading during firing. Applying a thread locker would address this, but there should be no need to go to having to modify or add to the recommended installation. As for fit, after removing and reinstalling a few time, (had to force removal and reinstallation) the plastic base seems to have enough wear from friction to provide a better fit, also a concern, but after proper fit, and final installation, normally sights are not removed or at least very infrequently. The NiteBrite feature, is pretty interesting, providing a very good low light and rapid target acquisition, the drawback is that it has to be pre-charged with a bright light, which would defeat its use in the weapon is stored in a case or safe, and had to be rapidly put into use in a low light situation... Tritium would be a better choice, but at a premium price. Dollar for dollar a very nice product, and the diamond sights to provide a VERY intuitive target acquisition!!!

***Great Sights, Amazon Price is the lowest (I searched), looks and works great on my weapon. Just buy these***
No crazy long review here folks. The sights work well, they look great, they lay nice and flat in the lowered position, snap up nicely and are completely firm in the upper position, and have an easy to adjust thumbwheel to increase your accuracy. Only con and it's not really a con is that the rear sight was hard to get on the rail. VERY TIGHT. That sight isn't going anywhere now that it's in place. NOTE, these are polymer sights. Don't mount the front one on a gas block rail. Barrel gets hot, your sight may warp.

My favorite sights
I own YHM, Troy micro battle sights, Magpul, and other flip up and solid sights, and I have to say, I really like these sights. The Diamondhead polymer sights are fast becoming my favorites. The diamond pattern allows for really fast sight alignment on your target. They were a little bit snug to slide on my rail, but feel very solid. Springs in mine are good and strong, you touch the button and they pop fully up with a snap sound. Mine lay almost perfectly flat against my rail when in the collapsed position. I used my laser bore sighter after I installed them on my full length rail and was very surprised at how little adjust it took to bore sight them. Both sights adjusted very easily, no tools needed for the front and you can use a bullet casing, coin, or a small flat screwdriver for the rear. Update 11/11/2014- I have to differ with the reviewer that is claiming that Magpul MBUS sights are so much better than the Diamondhead sights. Yes, The Magpul MBUS sights are good sights, but I found them to be harder to push down into the collapsed position than the Diamondhead's. And the release button on the Magpul MBUS sights requires more pressure to push to pop them up. With the MBUS sights, you need to carry a AR sight tool to adjust the front sight post, the Diamondhead front sight is tool-less and has a easy to adjust thumb wheel. The Magpul MBUS sights are bulkier than the Diamondhead's, which on some rifles with lightweight aluminum quad rails, can look out of place. But my honest comparison between some of the popular flip up sights. Yankee Hill Machine YHM-5040- Very easy to push release button, sights pop up well, easy to push down into the collapsed position, easy to adjust, front sight requires tool. Troy Micro Battle Sights HK front and round rear- A little bit stiffer to push release buttons, fairly easy to lift into upright position, fairly easy to push down into the collapsed position, easy to adjust, front requires tool. Magpul MBUS- Hardest to push release buttons, pop up nicely, hardest to push down to collapse, easy to adjust, front requires tool, bulky and look out of place on some lightweight rifles. Diamondhead- Easy to push release buttons, pop up with a snap, Easy to push down to collapse, harder to push down than the YHM but closer to the Troy's, very easy to adjust front sight, easy to adjust rear.

Diamondhead quality at a great price
Sturdy, nice tight fit on rails. Lightweight, Great price. Couldn't find in gun shops, most are stuck with magpul (Iron) at the same price. My AR is made of polymer / carbon fiber and these stay right in line with that in being polymer! And they are Real Diamondhead, No china knockoff! First time at range using a shooting block shot three rounds, all hit center in a tight pattern. Out of the box NO adjustments needed! Nice very nice. Only drawback would be the glow aspect of the sites doesn't last long and in a pinch are you going to have time to charge for glow? No!

Afordable sights from some of the best in the biz
After reading multiple accounts of Metal Back Up Sights bending while falling directly onto them (while flipped up) I decided that polymer is the way to go (as long as it is not mounted to a gas block because they will melt!) polymer is half the price and just as accurate. Plus, it doesn't bend really... it bounces back. I had wanted the metal Diamondhead sights for a while but when I saw that they had released these, it was a Godsend. I like them better than the Magpul sights (although those are very good and nothing wrong with them) because the diamond shapes really do help acquire target faster and lets face it, they look way cooler!! The construction is good. When you press the release button, it has a quick, positive snap into place. The rear sight that I got has a release button that isn't as smooth as the front but that doesn't hinder the function of it at all. After some use, it has gotten better. I like that the mounting bolts are flush and wont get snagged on anything. They sit down flat and don't move. They are the same height as my stock A2 sights (see pic) which makes it easy to co-witness sights (see pic) Easy to zero and I love that you do not have to have a tool to adjust the front sight post. Glow inserts work as advertised and glow for over an hour, just shine a good flashlight on it for about 5-10 seconds. That's all it takes. I would recommend these to anyone who wants some more affordable BackUps and isn't afraid of polymer. Talking to you old school!! :) Jokes aside, they all have their pros and cons. What works for you?

Highly disappointed...they got me!
Today I completed building my lower and attached my upper. I stalled my BCG and finally my Diamondhead USA Polymer Flip Up Sights...and guess what???The rear sight partially flips down. After closed inspection both sights are damaged they came straight out of the package like that. The vendor sold me defective sights and got away with it, my guess they were returned defective and sold to me. I cannot tell you how upset I am going from pride in finishing my first AR pistol to installing the sights and finding out they were damaged. To top it off, Amazon says that the time to return them has passes (Sept 2016). The plastic sights are poorly constructed and just too delicate. Take my advice and save your money for the metal sights you will be much happier. This is the first time Amazon let me down and ultimately I lost money as I have to buy metal sights now, rest assured I will not purchase them from Amazon.

And I don't have the best eyes.
Came a later than the expected date (nothing to do with shipper or Amazon ).got them mounted on my AR and sighted in at 25m...really acurate. Using. 223 fmj I am getting under one inch group at 25m. 1.5inch group at 50m. And I don't have the best eyes... I will be doing multiple target shots in the future. .I'll update what I find.
