Ferments Fervently, smells terrific, taste unknown. Will update later.
The wine is still fermenting, so I can't review the taste yet — but the yeast is clearly doing its job. Fast start, steady CO2, clean fermentation. Adding pectin to the fruit a day before pitching seemed to help a lot. Will update in 6–8 weeks when I can actually taste the wine! Very easy to use, reasonable cost. My flavors are two versions of plums from trees on my property, and two batches of blackberry. All smell amazing. Heavier on the sugar with the blackberries.

The best strain of yeast for homemade wine
I started making wine and forgot that I did not have any yeast. Ordered my favorite on Amazon and it was here the next day! The package worked wonderfully.

Great for making hard cider!
Great for cider making! Pitch one pack into a starter and then pitch the slurry into a 5g carboy and it’s perfect! I’ve also pitched the dry yeast directly into the carboy and it worked perfectly as well. Great price for the quantity, especially if you wash and re-use the second and third generations.

Exactly What I needed
This is fresh, active yeast - perfectly portioned and well packaged to keep it from being exposed to air, and making the yeast less potent. You want to have this on hand if you enjoy fermenting!

Very disappointed in the yeast. Arrived expired. Not sure if it can be still used.
