Review: Awesome awning - Used this awning today in the OBX and it was awesome. I normally don't write reviews. It was super windy, and it held up way better than I expected. We actually had to put our beach umbrella away because the wind was too much for it, but the awning had no problems at all. My only complaint is the stakes it comes with. They're basically useless in sand. Do yourself a favor and buy some decent sand stakes before your trip. Get four stakes and it'll be Rick solid Other than that, I'd definitely buy it again.

Good startup awning. Seems to be sturdy and well engineered, also decent size and good amount of shade. Mounting was a bit of a challenge on my Yakima Crossbars. If you have a crossbar with a middle insert, youll need to buy a T bolt from amazon auto shops near you, buy ones with washers. DO NOT DRILL your crossbars unless its your last resort.
