This hanger fits great in my Fluke meter, is easy to install and value for money. Looks durable and safe for using, I also glued a circular magnet and its grip now is very strong. Thank you!

This works, but it is not quite the same as the original strap that comes with the meter I have. It is also cheaper than the name brand, and it does what is required. The magnet seems to be comparable to the original and supports the meter for any normal application. Note that some meters have the slot on the back of the case and other, very similar meters do not, so you might want to check your meter and set your expectations accordingly.

I screwed it to the plastic of another meter. I love that my meter has a magnet now.

Thought I'd be smart and 3d print one of these magnets because Fluke's are *way* to expensive for what it is. Problem is that 3D prints slide, even with plastidip sprayed on them. Figure getting ones of these couldn't be worse than my attempt. And was pleasantly surprised - it worked, and it held my heaviest meter. The rubber coating on the magnet held w/o slipping. I did print the part that slips into the slot on the meter, so I didn't need that part. This would be good for someone that wants to replace what they have or already have the part that slides into the meter shroud.

Received Dec 12th, 2019. $13.23 after tax. Seems to hold good. on a breaker box, doesn't seem to move with my Fluke 87v attached. If I hold my 87v at the same height as the magnet and drop it...the magnet moves 2 inches. But then doesn't appear to creep down any more after that. I think this will be plenty of strength for my application, and don't know if the official one is much stronger? when my 87v is attached to the side of a refrigerator, it slid a few mm, then appeared to not move after that. Fridge side was much slicker than breaker box. when comparing to the official magnet, it lacks the quick snap in clip...but i am going to keep it attached, even when i put it in my case. If you have many meters, that you want to swap clips, this could be a downside...but not for me and my application. I'll update if the quality of the strap diminishes. ***Update Dec/19/19. Manufacturer of the official fluke clip said theirs would move a little too in the same test I did. So the strength of the magnet seems comparable. ***FYI the official one can wrap around a non-magnetic pole, and attach to itself.... If you can't find something magnetic to attach it to. This is another advantage of the official one. But for less than 1/3 of the price, and I don't foresee this being an issue in my situation.... It shouldn't be a problem for me.

Der Magnet ist viel zu schwach um ein Multimeter aufzuhängen. Finger weg. The magnet is far too weak for its intended purpose, hands off.
