Wilson A9117 Soft Compression Softball (12-Pack)

Perfect practice ball. Meets size requirements. Would have preferred the option to buy a smaller number, didn’t really the number that came in the package.

These are perfect for my pixie, softball girls (ages 6 to 9). Most girls took some balls off their arms, legs, and top of their heads. Since the balls are squishy, they didnt get hurt while learning how to better position their gloves while catching.

Love these for indoor use. Very durable and exact size of a regular ball!

A lot depends on why you want a softie. If you are getting softies for young players that are surprised to find that softball is not soft, then this is a good starting product. It is soft enough and squishy enough that getting hit with it is not a big issue. If you are interested in training a higher level team indoors, this is a bit too soft for my liking. It does not feel quite right in the hands, is a bit bouncy to catch in a glove or handle fielding hops, and does not have quite the seams that I would like my pitchers to feel. It will definitely make an administrator happy as it is clearly soft enough to be safe in a gym.

Excellent quality as always from Wilson. Very durable. Will definitely buy again when we need to.
