Rough Country 2.5" Lift Kit w/N3 Shocks for 2014-2024 Ram 2500 4WD - 30230

Very solid kit. Since rough country went with the new n3 shocks this kit is well worth more than $300. Not hard to instal with very little modification (still one hole in spring tower) just takes time. I do recommend a alignment after install even tho steering was not messed with. I’ve had it on the truck for 6 months and it rides better than stock. The truck will still have a little rake once installed but if you are going to go bigger tires do this kit instead of a traditional leveling kit. The inch in the rear provides a lot of clearance!

Arrived early, the installation is super simple and easy, and it works just fine. Allowed me room to run 35x12.50-18 on 18x10 wheels with neg offset with no rubbing

Inexpensive level kit to fit 35" tires on +18 moto metal wheels for my 2019 Ram 2500. Shocks a bit stiff but rides better then factory shocks at 25000 miles

Well the install was very easy. However, the shocks bouche some much after a bump it is actually scary because it bounces and moves the truck over in an unsafe way. I need to take them off unfortunately. Please don't buy if you're putting them on a 2500 or heavier truck. maybe they will work on a lighter truck

Good product. Appears well made. My 2500 had a Sport package that came with the Bilstein Shocks all the way around. I was hesitant to replace but did not want to use shock extenders so I went with their shocks. The ride is as good or better now than with the Bilstein shocks which surprised me(30K on the Bilsteins). Install was difficult for one person. If you have the right equipment and do not run into any problems, an experienced DIY person should be able to complete in about 3-4 hours. You will need some good jack stands and jacks to get this done. Raising the frame high enough for jack stands without a good jack with power and height will be difficult. used multiple jacks while the truck was on stands to make things easier. Front end is easier than back. Hardest part was getting one of the old shocks removed and aligning the rear coil springs. It was also a pain to realign the rear sway bar( may be calling it the wrong thing). Instructions I received were outdated and in black and white. They indicated one model of shock but I received two different models(see pics). The instructions on their website are current and in color and indicated the new shocks and correct placement. No alignment needed but it did uncenter the steering wheel by about 10 degrees. That cannot be fixed because my drag link is welded due to the RAM recall. Not a big deal. The 1 inch lift in the back does not seem to negate any of the 2.5 in the front. Wish I had taken some before and after. My only complaint is they do not include boots for the shocks. They are cheap and easily available so why not just include?

This is built right and keeps the front springs aligned correctly. Love how well my truck rides now.

The 2.5" front and 3/4" back lift looks smashing with the kit installed on my 2021 Ram 2500. Just a hair not squatting in the back which I like. However, The instructions are not accurate for the parts received. Specifically the shock part numbers are different than the instructions. Two short and two longer shocks. You the consumer get to guess where each one goes. (until the front are installed and the back ones are not long enough). (Long ones in the back) The rear axle instructions lack any real kind of pictures and you have to be carefull what you are unbolting as you read along. Added some red shock boots for pop and my alignment was good except I think I need to get an adjustable track bar for the back axle. I came out with .5" thrust angle out. I had to jack up the rear axle on one side about .5" to get it to go in place. Rides very well though. Little to no wander on the road.
