I wish I'd had this 8 weeks ago. It would have made these weeks far less miserable for my 87 year old Mom with fractured C-2. I have purchased 2 hard collars and reveived one from the Emergency Department. I purchased 2 different soft collars that were too short around neck and too high under chin. Purchased those two different soft collars in a larger size, plus one other type. Got two soft collars from ER. All too tight because still too short around neck. All of them, hard and soft, were too high under the chin, severly impacting her ability to eat, AND, all of them pushed her hearing aids out of her ears. So. This one came today, same day her doctor told me to stop using the hard collar and spend the next 4 weeks kids n a soft collar. Well, even though this is a "hard collar" I think will be using it as the soft collar. I did have to put an extension on the Velcro. It is still too short. HOWEVER, it fits. Boy, does it fit. Perfect height. Fits under chin without pushing her head up and back. Fits absolutely beneath the ears and doesn't shove the hearing aids out. Amazing product.
