Great base plate to have for your Lego
Bought this Lego Baseplate (@ Rs 1195/-) couple of weeks ago for my child to use it to create his creations on the plate properly. I initially went looking for the same in the brick & mortar stores - Hamleys, Shopper Stop, WestSide, Saffire Toy store but funnily none of them had with them in stock though they had kept Lego stuff with them. Finally, I picked it up from Amazon when they became available as "Amazon Fulfilled" service. 1. The size of the base plate is really big & can accommodate quite a few of the kids creation. Just to give an idea - fits into the big floor tiles but still leaves edges free. 2. Mind you the plates are thin & delicate so you have to handle with care. Preferably ask the kids to play on the flat surface (definitely not on the bed). A must have for Lego players as it assist you in keeping all those small small pieces in one place.

Received what I expected.. genuine Lego product.

Poor quality considering the price
The base can be cut with knife and be folded easily. Rs1000 is not justified for such a product. Lego bricks are many times tougher and durable than this base.

Basic plate, not too strong, bends easily hence good packing is critical..amazon does a great job here..but not good value..checked on various websites across the world cheapest is on the US website of amazon for Rs 700
