I went for the more expensive one due to bad experiences with the cheaper ones. Immediately I noticed that the meter required almost daily calibration. I waited several days before jumping to conclusions. I purchased multiple buffer solutions at my own expense to test and verify results. All inconsistent. Finally I contacted HM support and sent them photos and videos of evidence that readings were faulty. They made me ship the meter back to them at my own expense. After 2 weeks they claimed that they calibrated and tested the device and it was working fine, they could find no issues, and they sent it back to me. As soon as I opened the box I tested again using buffers and the results are way off again! See pictures. Fresh from their factory calibration. I have tried every way to cooperate with them. I have even asked them to send me their own buffers if they are so adamant the device works fine. I have sent photos and videos of evidence. And yet the still refuse to acknowledge the device if faulty. If they had been a little more transparent and helpful this could have been easily resolved. But considering their stubborn refusal to accept the facts or provide their own, I must warn anyone from buying any HM products with a 1-Star rating. Aside from the cost of the meter, all the buffers have also drained my wallet. And this time the product came without any buffer solution. And most noticeably, the battery was completely drained. It wouldn't turn ON.
