This is tailor-made for eclectic personalities. I'm a male that can be described as "funky" in style. Tailored seersucker suits and heavy tweed with colorful Cole Haan wingtips.. a colorful Lego statement piece watch on my left hand.. and this Nintendo Gameboy on the right.. like Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips. That guy has style for daaays. I feel like a cool @$$ rock star when I wear this. It's just so freakin cool to have a mini Gameboy on your wrist as a kid who played Gameboy!!! Want compliments? Wear this watch with unstoppable confidence. "Oh my God, that's such a cool watch!"

As a mid range watch collector and wearer of gshocks, citizen, seikos, omega, Tissot, I can appreciate the lower end novelty watches. This watch fits the bill. Sure, it's all plastic like a kids watch(but so is as swatch watch), but it looks great and gives off a cool vibe. Great conversation starter too. It's easy to set and basically does exactly what it should...tells time, date, lights up, and has an alarm feature. The alarm plays Nintendo jingles...pretty fun. The watch band is very pliable and plenty long but kind of cheap , but expected for this type of watch. I think it's priced a bit high for its quality but it's the cool factor that gen x or millennials are familiar with and crave. Gotta spend that disposable income on cool stuff from your childhood 😉. I had this in my cart for sometime waiting on a discount or sale. While the discount was minimal, I decided to finally purchase it. No regrets.

This watch is just awesome, the strap is pretty comfortable, it's a watch so everything you see is pretty straight forward. The only real complaints are that the backlight only lights up one side of the display, but it lights up enough of it to be visible in the dark so it's not a bad thing, it's just looks visually unbalanced. One of the most interesting things it has is also one of it's biggest problems, the alarm plays the world 3 theme from super mario bros 2 and it was pretty cool at first since most watches just have a beep so it made feel unique, until you have to switch it off. The watch has this weird glitch where once the alarm goes off you can't switch it off unless you remove the battery (which is not possible on your own unless you know your way around a watch) and when the alarm does work the way it should, then it either switches off and works fine or it switches off and resets everything. So in conclusion, the watch is very nice and it still gets 5 stars just for the look of it and would make a great gift for any Nintendo fan unless they like using the alarm, however it may just be mine so I can't clarify exactly.

I really like this watch....wish they made a Playstation watch

I've had this for some time now but I just realized that I haven't reviewed it. It is an overall nice watch and even if I'm big, it can still accommodate my wrist. It really does look like a small gameboy that you can play in. Now my biggest concern and I don't know if they've fixed it already but the date will not show even if you can set it, which is weird if you think about it. Also I think this is caused by water damage or just a normal occurrence due to age but the LCD panel will corrode eventually. If you look closely at the bottom right part of my watch under the seconds, there is some corrosion happening with the display. For now it is not an issue, but the gameboy color watch we gave to our sister corroded really fast and is not showing anything anymore. It might've gotten wet, I dunno, but just be aware that it will most likely happen to your watches too.

Remember when we were kids we'd get those junky LCD watches with a super hero on them? That's what this is, except the alarm is the first level of Super Mario Land. You can set the date but I can't figure out how to check it with going into time setting mode... Not a big deal, we all have cell phones so watches are more a fashion choice. It tells the time, date, lights up. Your money here is going for the novelty of how well they captured the look of the Gameboy. They nailed it. It's a well made cheap watch... I've never had much luck with watches, if I remember when it stops working or gets damage I will update this review but as a child of the 90s, I'm satisfied. This is cool, I'd like to see a Game gear watch next.

Al principio pensé que no servía porque le puse la alarma y se apago completamente después vi un comentario donde dice que había de cambiarle la pila. Eso fue lo que hice y funciona perfecto a mi hijo en fascinó esta super feliz con su regalo.

Llegó con batería y todo ha funcionado bien, fácil de programar, tiene luz, la correa es de plástico flexible, si te gusta mucho no lo uses demasiado, la alarma es la música de Mario land aunque dura muy poco y no se repite, tal vez eso sería lo único malo.
