This monitor has a high colour gamut. You get more colors than your standard high-definition monitors. Great for content creation.

The HDMI cable isn't the same as my PC. How can I connect it?

You are using the HDMI cable right? It ships with a Display Port Cable, not HDMI. Its labeled on the back as DP. HDMI doesnt have enough bandwidth to pass-through a 144hz 1440p image. You CAN use an HDMI cable as it does indeed have HDMI ports on the back, but you'll be limiting your monitor's refresh-rate. If you have a video card made in the last 5-6 years, you should have Display Port on it.

Not including the stand, are the dimensions for this 24 inch rookui monitor actually 21.3 inches (w) x 12.68 inches (h)? most 23.8's are 15" (h)?

Yes, those are the correct dimensions. The diagonal is truly 24 inches though. I just measured to be sure.
