Perfect gift for a puzzler
Best thing i got for my grandmother!!! She loves reading mysteries and doing puzzles so i got this for her for Christmas. I got yelled at for it cause there is no actual image of what the puzzle looks like due to it being a mystery puzzle combo. She thoroughly enjoyed doing the puzzle regardless of the complaining. Highly recommend to your puzzler friends.

Amazing Concept And FUN!
A friend told me about these murder mystery puzzles and I was just too intrigued not to order myself. I searched online and found this one for my first one. I love coffee. I love a good mystery. This is a challenge because you won’t see the finished picture to compare to as you’re working the puzzle! BUT, the puzzle is well made and sturdy. Good clean cuts. And bright colors to see well on each piece. The story makes you want to hurry and finish the puzzle to figure out the solution! I didn’t peek but there IS an answer solution to the mystery cleverly typed in the back of the booklet if you just can’t wait to know the answer. But I say take your time and work the puzzle! No spoiling the ending!!! ;) Very neat product. Fun for family to work together if you like or perfect on your own as well. I’ll be ordering more once I figure this one out!

Good puzzle, but we found the back story and clues a little weak.
My family really enjoyed this puzzle. I put it out on a table Thanksgiving Day. We had friends and family coming and going all day, but everyone stopped at the puzzle table to fit a few pieces and chat about what the murder clues could be, and the passionate puzzlers in our family couldn't be pulled away. With no picture to follow (it's not on the box) and the variety of images in the jigsaw, the puzzle is delightfully challenging. I would have given this puzzle five stars, but the background story provided in the puzzle pamphlet is 11 pages long, and most of my guests didn't want to spend that much time to learn the chain of events leading up to the murder. Also, even those of us who read the enclosed pamphlet, could not solve the murder mystery based on clues in the back story and the images in the completed puzzle. The solution provided in the box (you read it by holding it up to a mirror), is somewhat clever, but in our opinion, not all that well supported by the story and puzzle picture. But even given those drawbacks, we all said we'd try a mystery jigsaw again.

High quality, fun without the picture to follow!
I loved this one! This is the 3rd mystery one I’ve done and was definitely my favorite. Easy to separate by color and pattern and then so fun to watch it all come together. The story was just a fun side thing, the real joy was putting together a puzzle without the picture. Highly recommend!

Great puzzle, lame mystery
The puzzle itself was very fun, and the concept was also exciting. My kids loved reading the mystery story ahead of time. The puzzle is a bit larger than a standard 1000 piece, because the pieces are bigger. They are nice and thick, and they hold together well enough to move a big section. My puzzle was missing a piece, which, you know, oh well. I had a blast putting this puzzle together overall. But the solution to the mystery is BS. It makes some gigantic leaps in logic and I certainly couldn't solve it just by looking at the picture.

Good Mystery tests powers of observation.
Not too hard and not too easy. Interesting mystery and fun to try to solve. I did have a piece missing. Don't know if I lost it or if it was missing from the factory. Not a key piece and puzzle well worth doing even so.

Great puzzle person gift!
I bought three. Had to return one since it arrived squished, but ao worth the reorder. It was a hit! I found out because a friend did one. The only thing I recommend is tell them not to look at the item reviews on Amazon until complete. It will spoil the fun! Many people show completed puzzles. I will be buying other versions. Awesome puzzle! Fun challenge...

Great way to pass time in quarantine!
Unlike most jigsaw puzzles, you can't refer to the box cover for help putting it together. The picture you build is another mystery. You start by reading a super short story and the puzzle you assemble is the collection of evidence at the scene of a crime. Fully assembled, it will provide clues to supplement the plot of the story. It's a great conversation piece since we theorize as we build it. Once the puzzle is finished and everyone is betting on who did it, the outcome is provided at the back of the story booklet. It's kitschy, but the crime solution is printed in a mirror image - so have a mirror handy and be ready to look at your finished puzzle a little more closely! Even my daughter, who hates jigsaws loves these puzzles. We're working on our third!
