This rug is so soft and goes perfectly in our woodland-themed nursery. It works really well on carpet, but I don't know if I would recommend it for hard-wood flooring, as the bottom part of the rug is minky fabric, so I would imagine it would slide around. Dimensions measuring by the feet are roughly 43"x32".Only downside I have is that the "fur" slightly sheds, but I anticipated that based off of the material. The tag says you can machine wash on cold, so it's possible that giving it a wash could minimize the shedding!

I bought this for my daughter to use in my grandson’s nursery. Color is as pictured, the texture is silky soft fur. The features are just adorable. Big sister(2) approves. It is perfect for her to lay on and read her books. Makes an excellent addition to the room.
