I bought the Silkland USB-C video cable (5K/4K@60Hz) to use with my Samsung T7 external SSD, because I needed a cable that could handle fast transfers without bottlenecking the drive. This one delivers exactly that. Right away, the braided design stood out — it looks great, feels durable, and has a nicer overall quality than standard rubber cables. In use, it performs flawlessly. Transfer speeds match what I’d expect for the T7’s maximum over USB, and I’ve had no dropouts or connection issues at all. It’s as fast as the drive can realistically go. After around three months of regular use, durability has been solid. Compared to my other USB-C cables, this one definitely feels better built, and it was great value for the price too. This cable is ideal for anyone using fast external SSDs or anyone who needs a stable, high-speed USB-C connection. I’d absolutely buy it again and would recommend it without hesitation.

The cable that came with my external drive was only half a meter so this cable is perfect also quite ridged

Ordered a portable ssd that had a dodgy cable and needed a good replacement. Bought this on a deal and now looking at getting another soon as it has been perfectly. Supports the protocol that it states and has no failures or hitches. Furthermore, it is secure and satisfying to plug in, and looks + feels very premium. Great company.

Great, bought as a replacement for my Samsung T7 and is the same speed as the cable that came with it (going by the Blackmagic speed test app). It’s very rigid, I would have preferred a little more flexibility, but I guess that will also make it more durable. Definitely a good buy

Works exactly as described. Data transfer speed and charging are important attributes with these cables and I have multiple different Silkland wires serving their purpose in my setups now. Happy to reccomend this as a quality product and brand.

This is a good quality cable so worth paying a little extra. Fibre covered, it feels well made and heavy duty. It carries 'fast charge' to my phone without problem.

I use it to connect my Samsung phone to a portable monitor, and the connection is very stable! For charging while connected to the monitor and standalone, it is super quick with my Samsung fast charging block. The cable itself is also thick, durable and very nice build quality. I feel like I am maximizing video and charging capabilities with this setup!

J’ai 4 câbles comme celui-ci, je les ai depuis plus d’un an, résultat : - Aucun des 4 n’a eu de problème - Je peux charger mon Mac avec un chargeur 96w sans problème - Je peux copier des fichiers sur mon SSD très rapidement. Je n’utilise plus que ces câbles, le prix et largement correct et la qualité est très bonne, je recommande fortement 👍
