The short version: these are stable and easy to assemble. The other ones I’ve bought have lasted the better part of a year without a single problem. I have no reason to believe they will ever have a problem. I wouldn’t trust them with, say, stacked weight plates on the top shelf, but for normal everyday storage they’re perfect. At $40 you can’t ask for more than “good enough”. In this case “good enough” means excellent value. Review: Good shelves - I needed narrow shelves for the garage that were easy to put together and would hold what I needed. These did the job. They seemed a little flimsy when putting together but they ended up being great. Would buy again. ## Features - 【Space-Smart Design – Fits Where You Need It, Holds What You Carry】Measured at 72"H×35.5"W×11.9" D, this garage shelving features a tailored depth that fits common items perfectly. Young car owners, DIY hobbyists, and senior tool collectors often run into sizing troubles: overdeep frames block walkways, while shallow racks let bins hang over edges. Designed to hold hand tools, paint cans, and plastic totes flush without gaps, it makes the most of vertical space for easy access - 【2400 LBS Capacity – Steel Frame, 5 Reinforcing Ribs】All-metal construction with one reinforcing bar per tier (5 total) spreads weight evenly across this storage shelves unit for a total load limit of 2400 LBS. Auto repair kits, paint buckets, and large bins stay secure during regular stacking and retrieval – no bending, no deformation, no worry - 【Adjustable & Splittable – Adapts as Your Storage Changes】One month, you're stacking bulk pantry goods. Next month, tall tools and spray cans. Then holiday bins come out. Fixed shelves force you to compromise – this one doesn't. Adjust each tier in seconds – raise for tall items, lower for stackable bins. No tools needed. Need garage storage today and pantry shelving next week? Splits into a 2‑tier and a 3‑tier unit – use together or apart. One rack, endless setups – no wasted space - 【Powder Coat Finish – Rust-Resistant for Humid Garages】All metal components are coated with a uniform protective layer that slows oxidation and surface wear. Garages and storage rooms often have limited ventilation – this finish helps garage shelving surfaces stay intact through extended use, even when storing car accessories and lawn gear in damp conditions - 【10‑Minute Assembly – Simple Interlocking, No Tools Needed】Too busy for a weekend project? This storage shelves unit snaps together in about 10 minutes – no nuts, no bolts, no special tools. For busy homeowners, DIYers, and older adults who don't want to bend over lining up screws or crouch to tighten bolts. Just snap, stack, and you're done ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0D9K88131 | | Additional Features | Weight-Bearing, Height-adjustable, Space Saving, Tool-Free Assembly, Rivet Construction | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Assembly Instructions Description | Easy to assemble in 10 minutes with no tools required, using interlocking design and provided hammer and gloves. | | Best Sellers Rank | #20,937 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #39 in Standing Shelf Units | | Brand Name | REIBII | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 2,704 Reviews | | Finish Types | Powder Coated | | Furniture Finish | Metal | | Included Components | Hammer, Gloves, Instruction Manual | | Installation Type | Freestanding | | Item Depth | 11.9 inches | | Item Dimensions | 11.9 x 35.5 x 72 inches | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 11.9"D x 35.5"W x 72"H | | Item Highlight | 5 Tier Heavy Duty Storage Shelves,Tool-Free Assembly,Freestanding,5 Reinforcing Ribs,35.5" W x 72" H for Commercial Warehouse | | Item Weight | 26.2 pounds | | Manufacturer | REIBII | | Material | Metal, Wood | | Material Type | Metal, Wood | | Minimum Required Door Width | 11.9 inches | | Mounting Type | Floor Mount | | Number Of Shelves | 5 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Shelves | 5 | | Product Care Instructions | Wipe with Dry Cloth | | Product Name | shelves | | Recommended Uses For Product | Garage, pantry, closet, kitchen, warehouse, basement, living room, office, study, and various storage purposes | | Room Type | Garage, Basement, Warehouse, Kitchen, Pantry, Closet, Living Room, School, Storage Room, Office | | Shape | Rectangular | | Shelf Thickness | 5 millimeters | | Shelf Type | Tiered Shelf | | Size | 11.9"D x 35.5"W x 72"H | | Special Feature | Weight-Bearing, Height-adjustable, Space Saving, Tool-Free Assembly, Rivet Construction | | Style Name | Industrial | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Weight Capacity | Minimum weight: 400 pounds | | Weight Capacity Maximum | 2400 pounds | ## Product Details - **Finish Type:** Powder Coated - **Material:** Metal, Wood - **Mounting Type:** Floor Mount - **Number of Shelves:** 5 - **Product Dimensions:** 11.9"D x 35.5"W x 72"H - **Room Type:** Garage, Basement, Warehouse, Kitchen, Pantry, Closet, Living Room, School, Storage Room, Office - **Shape:** Rectangular - **Shelf Type:** Tiered Shelf - **Special Feature:** Weight-Bearing, Height-adjustable, Space Saving, Tool-Free Assembly, Rivet Construction - **Style:** Industrial ## Images ![REIBII 2400 LBS Garage Shelving for Basement, Adjustable Shelving Unit - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81XM4Xwo5uL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Item Package Quantity** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stable, reliable *by T***I on September 15, 2026* I’ve bough these before and wrote a more detailed review that time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good shelves *by C***G on August 16, 2026* I needed narrow shelves for the garage that were easy to put together and would hold what I needed. These did the job. They seemed a little flimsy when putting together but they ended up being great. Would buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product with a great price *by W***S on May 12, 2025* I picked up the shelf unit to get my garage in order, and I was honestly impressed right out of the box. Assembly was so easy. The package includes a small hammer, gloves, and really clear instructions. No screws or bolts are needed thanks to the interlocking design, so the whole process took me about 10 minutes on my own. That made it perfect for a quick weekend project. What I really like is how sturdy it is. Each shelf holds up to 404 lbs, and you can definitely feel that stability once it's set up. I’ve got heavy book boxes, tool bins, and random garage stuff stacked on it, and it doesn’t even wobble. It also has adjustable shelves, so I could customize it to fit my different-sized containers. That flexibility is a huge plus, especially when you're trying to make the most out of limited space. The size worked great for my small garage area; big enough to store a lot, but still slim enough to fit comfortably without taking over the whole wall. I actually bought the 2-pack thinking I’d need both for garage storage, but one unit was more than enough for my needs. The second one ended up being repurposed as a dresser shelf in my bedroom, and it works surprisingly well there too. The black metal looks clean and modern, so it doesn’t feel out of place at all. Long term, I’ll be keeping an eye out for any rust or wear, especially since it’s in the garage. But so far, the quality seems solid. I’d definitely recommend this if you're looking for a reliable, multi-use shelving solution that won’t break the bank. Pros: - Super easy and quick to assemble (no bolts or screws needed) - Extremely sturdy and stable with high weight capacity - Adjustable and detachable shelves add flexibility - Works in different spaces (garage, pantry, bedroom, etc.) - Great value for a 2-pack set Cons: - Depth might be a little narrow for larger storage bins - Will need time to see how it holds up against rust in the long run ## Frequently Bought Together - REIBII 2020LBS Storage Shelves 5 Tier Garage Shelving Heavy Duty Adjustable Garage Shelves, Utility Rack Shelf, Shelving Units for Storage Warehouse Pantry Closet, 35.5" W x 11.9" D x 72" H, Black - 4 Tier Shelving Unit NSF Wire Shelf Metal Large Storage Shelves Heavy Duty Height Adjustable Commercial Grade Steel Utility Layer Shelf Rack Organizer 1000 LBS Capacity -14x36x54,Black - Amazon Basics 3-Shelf Adjustable Heavy Duty Steel Wire Rack Storage Shelving Organizer for Kitchen, Garage, 23.2" L x 13.4" W x 30" H, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/643903152-reibii-2400-lbs-garage-shelving-for-basement-adjustable-shelving-unit](https://www.desertcart.is/products/643903152-reibii-2400-lbs-garage-shelving-for-basement-adjustable-shelving-unit) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
