Im getting mixed responses. Some saying it's fm some saying it's dab radio? I'm even more confused now lol.

It is DAB and FM and I have excellent DAB reception as good as my Roberts radio, I've had mine for about 6 years. Very pleased with it and great sound

Yes it does and very well. I am very pleased with the sound, the way it works which is very simple and it fits into my TV unit perfectly.

Can this item be freestanding, ie: moved from room to room or does it have to be wall mounted?

Free standing in the sense that it can be moved from room to room but it needs a mains socket as it is not battery powered. It does not have to be wall mounted -just plugged into the mains electricity.

Can you use Bluetooth headphones with this hifi?

I called into the Currys store today to check out this product. After trying for some time to get the HC302 to pair with my bluetooth headphones, I was told the unit does not include a bluetooth transmitter. Although the specs say it has a 3.5mm output, we could only find a 3.5mm Aux In, so it appears not to have a headphone socket (which would allow you to connect a bluetooth transmitter). Very disappointed, as people are saying it has a headphone socket and works with bluetooth headphones!
