I installed a 2TB Solid State drive to which I already ripped 600 CDs (800 more to go) and I hooked up a 4TB hard drive to one of the back USB ports , due to the very small size of the SS Drive and HDD I was able to fit both in the back compartment (you can only see a small portion of the USB cable). I have it connected to a Mcintosh C52 preamp with XLR cables and Mcintosh MC402 Amp , the sound is outstanding , I could not tell the difference between x45 and my main player Mcintosh. MCD301. Excellent build quality as well.
